After being to LOS a few times I met the girl of my dreams and decided to take her with me the last time I went in January. it turned out to be the most miserable experience I have ever had in LOS, totally different from the first time we met, not the least bit interested in me only how much she could get from me,money money money, true saying money number one, I agreed to give her her money to pay her off after two weeks, went to exchange got 20,000bht had it in my pocket went for a shower noticed my shorts had been disturbed checked them and money gone, grabbed her handbag and money was inside, the thing is she tried to make me feel guilty about going into her bag, I felt very vurnerable after a lot of argument gave her her money, as most people know we don't want envolved with the police, got rid of her the next day, and went on to enjoy the last week of my holiday. Anybody had similar experience and would it have been worthwhile going to the police. Watch a Thai chick that carries a cuddly frog I won't mention her name

I think you were sensible not to go to the police. The police tend to not have a lot of sympathy for farang tourists mucking about with hookers plus I guarantee that she would start telling the police that you beat her up or something like that.
I think you were nuts to give her the Bt20,000 but if you found it the easiest way to cut your losses, so be it.

Not to downplay your bad experience, but I think maybe we should make the above quote the mantra of the site, if not a plaque to be displayed, or a T-shirt. It seems to pretty much summarize the average bad experience that people invariably end up having.

Caronte is right. You should not have caved in to her like that. There would be no way she would go to the MIB.
I take it you hadnt been giving her payment every day as well and that the Bt 20,000 was for the 2 weeks she had spent with you. If so she probably deserved some payment, although I would have deducted some because she had tried to steal from me. I would have then thrown her out there and then. Just to be on the safe side I would check into a new hotel as well.
BTW if she was such a bitch, and you were only on holiday for only 3 weeks why did you stay with her so long. Madness. Hope you had fun in your last week though.

You avoided a major scene which you don't need when you are not playing on your home field.
For a two week run you would have paid at least 14K anyway, so no big deal.
Chalk it up to experience and don't worry about feeling vulnerable.

Samuel, where did you find this girl. If you got her from a bar you should never have paid the money to her, especially after catching her red handed stealing it. But as abrak said, up to you if it felt better. Even if she was a freelancer, you should have just told her to leave, maybe given her 5k or something. If she gave you problems in the hotel, just call security and tell them you caught her stealing.
By paying her, you have given her the green light to do it again to someone else, foolish.
But why on earth did you keep her till the next day. Did you f*** her that night and cuddle up or what? In fact why on earth did you keep her beyond a few days.
Obviously the good doctor Quack Off is speaking from experience. Maybe that explains why he has such pitiful opinions on every darn thing.
