Dear Brothers,
Looking forward to my next trip to LOS in August - September, this time for five full weeks!
Something I've been curious about, which I'm sure our more experienced brothers will have an opinion about: I suppose that fresh new girls arrive all the time in BKK from upcountry. But is there a particular season of the year when they come down in packs? For example, is there a major influx that coincides with the end of the school year?
My apologies if this has already been covered. I eagerly await your thoughts...

Late October/early November is when you will find new girls heading for the bars in droves as the tourist season picks up.
It is also when many of those girls who left the bar to live with their farang "boyfriend" return to the bar because they can make more money than his monthly allowance. Tourists hand out $ 100 bills like confetti as the girls well know.
It is also when mamasan phones around some of her more popular girls and tells them things are picking up. Sometimes mamasan threatens to have the girl's face scarred if she doesn't return. Generally an idle threat but if you're a 19 year old kid and mamasan has been in the game for 25 years it's pretty scary stuff. They go back without uttering a word.

Curious and a bit worried. I am heading to LOS about mid May for 2 or 3 weeks for R...... & M... R......
Never been there that time of year, so what happens to all the small little bars like on Suk, Cowboy and Soi 22.
Do they close up and wait for the busy times or just keep a few staff on hand.
May have to stay at Nana Hotel if its that quiet.

There are always girls around although a few small bars did close for a short while last year.
It tends to even out. Less punters means less girls which means each punter and each girl still have roughly the same choice as before.

I was in Pattaya last May and there was no shortage of BG. Not nearly as many customers as there were in February.
Don't worry be happy. Many happy ending during May and the prices are cheaper.

The bars are definitely quieter now than a few months ago.
My regular returned to the bar in October looking for someone with more money. How can a poor girl possibly live on just Bht 40k a month?
Last week she had time to tell me she missed me, so I know things must be getting bad. Aw c'mon guys, she only wants Bht 100k a month. Any takers? Please... I'll even throw the sister in for free.
