It might be worth mentioning that 'pregnancy' would be the least worry of girls working in the 'BG' business, and that condoms do a lot more than prevent pregnancies.
Tampons is a good thing, but encouraging BB behavior because you just care about preventing pregnancies seems pretty irresponsible - unless I'm missing something.

Some things to consider:
Birth Control pills must be taken on a regular basis to be effective. You can not just turn it on or turn it off.
Birth Control pills are not cheap, even in LOS.

Interesting China sailor however I would suggest that you can obtain any medicine in Thailand without a prescription and I'm can't see why going to the docs to ask for advice on this matter would be expensive the average thai doc doesn't charge anywhere near the cost of a visit to bumrungrad so cost should not be an issue when relating this to bargirls these girls usually earn several times the average national wage, they are effectively wealthy, relatively at least.

Technically speaking, yes -- and I agree with you that the issue of finances is probably the lesser concern -- as CS pointed out, a certain amount of responsibility and consistency is needed for birth control pills to be effective, and unless I lived with the girl, I would be hard pressed to trust her taking them regularly.
There are other methods that work equally, either by injection (progesterone) and implantation (depo-provera), all of which are quite financially affordable for a western sponsor.

Just wondering why Tampons are a good thing? From my knowledge it is safer to use pads then Tampons. I do believe they can lead to problems if not used correctly.
Not that they should not be used but I don't understand why they are better? Just another option IMHO.
Maybe not using other types of birth control is a good thing. They might be a lot less likely to go bareback if they are not using any other form of birth control. This could actually save there life. They may worry about getting pregnant and so will be unwilling to go bareback and as a side effect of using a condom prevent STD's.
If they were all on the pill they might be more likely to cave into some guys desire to do the dead with out using a condom.
