If you love Asians as much as I do you will find this interesting. You will also find how hopeless and idiotic nightlife can be here in US. (As compared to BKK) Went to Indianapolis' chic Broad Ripple district last weekend to hang out and maybe fing 'somethin' GRIN. Many farang girls staring and could have probably worked em' but there was 1 problem. It stood about 5-1,cocoa brown-skin, long black hair. Shirt tied above her flawless tummy. problem was she was a waitress and virtually impossible to talk to.complete inversion of Thailand as it was 10 guys for every girl in this place. If I had to look at 1 more guy with a beer leaning over her trying to talk to her I was going to throw up! It got worse. I tried to talk to her, hoping to God she was a Thai but suspecting she was a Filipina (She was) Broken English got my hopes up as I thought If she was Thai I might have a chance but as I said her language was going to be Tagalog. She gave me a look like "why are you trying to talk to me?" which left me depressed. Now like Ive been told Im a very good looking guy and Im not a geek but good-grief I felt unimportant. I eventually left half-drunk with a boner and more than a little pissed off. THANK GOD FOR THAILAND Is all you can say. You guys that have the financial means to live in Bangkok are the luckiest SOB's in the world and I WILL be joining you on Oct 20.

It sure is a huge difference from SE Asia where girls fawn all over you, and even guys like me are popular!
One of the main problems is that in North America, it will take a lot more than 2,000 Baht to feel important. Also, Asian girls are more open and I imagine it doesn't take much of an effort to get freebies if you are a permanent resident of BKK.

Yeah. Same over here in Europe.
I always think "What little do you know..." when going out with my workmates - who desperately try to fancy and to stick with the local girls - 10:1 - and do not know better.
Thailand is heaven.
No money, no honey. For me its 38 hours until I will nibble from that sweet honey I am addicted to.

There is another BIG difference between hunting in the West and hunting in LOS (or should I say being hunted).
And that is that the girls in the West do not NEED a man. They usually can support themselves nicely and can go for years without a man and months or more without even a lay. Here in LOS, finding is man is their business; either for the night or for long term.
As Tom Cruise said in Top Gun... "It is a target rich environment". Sexual Disneyland really.

I dont agree entirely that its just $$$$ re TGs, - sure, that will be required to make progress, but by and large you can say Hi to any TG, in a shop, restaurant, bus, etc. and they will not blank you, or ask you why the hell your talking to them - The fact the are approachable, and polite enough to answer you, is a plus in the average TG [ and this is the non BG/P4P variety]

Yes gents, but at least they are polite in LOS. I've had it with the rude chicks in Farangland. It's very easy to feel like a dirty old man in F'land, just for trying to engage someone in conversation or smiling when you talk to them - frankly I don't really want to nail them..just no longer interested.
Farang women are generally not gracious, that's the real difference.
Sure, no money, no honey applies in LOS, but from my experience the frozen, get out of my space, silent stare and head turn does not, unless you are a complete arsehole....then, I guess even the most gracious will freeze you out.

Actually it takes a lot of effort. And you pay more in the end. Or am I just being cynical and stayed too long. Only P4P now for me.
