If your straight off the plane from downtown Farangland, even the desperates in the soi 7 beer garden will seems like 8 or 9 's - I still find a wander round MBK usually does something to restore a bit of interest tho, especially on a sunday when school is closed and the little students have got out of the black and white and gone for the jeans and skimpy top !

Agree with you, TPE. Rating scales are not only subjective but relative as well. I remember years ago first coming over here and seeing hot women everywhere. Now, living here these years, some things become more usual or plain, and getting to know women from all levels of society [for instance office girls rather than just beer bar girls, not that there's anything wrong with either], my standards change. A woman whom I would've salivated for just to lick her ankle years ago hardly looks appropriate to my stuck up level now, etc. Tastes change. Though thanks to wonderful breeding techniques of LOS I STILL see hot women everywhere.
But that doesn't mean I don't rate women either--wouldn't it be more difficult for men to talk with each other at all if we didn't?
MBK is great for rekindling interest in life. But I certainly don't mind the ones who seem to wear the black and whites every day of their lives.
