I would say that 1000 is pretty slim for a LT these days.
I am not a go go LT expert, but I would say 1500 at the min.
Freelancer LT I would put at 2K for lower class places, and 3k for higher class places.
That is what I think you would wind up paying, of course the girls will probably initially ask for more.

Beerbar and FLs seemed pleased for 1000 in Phuket and BKK back in 2004 (see my title). Only once I'm qouted 3000. I'm actually never had any GoGo girls. Guess I'm the hansome SOB 
Ok, a couple of hundred more or less dosent bugger me but 2-3k for average to topclass girls sounds like a scary development.
What about the BF's then?

Depends where you are? Maybe around 500-1500?
BF in Soi Cowboy is not going to cost you the same as Soi 33
On average I think about 600 baht
LT? Same same as above depends where. 1000 for something you most likely will wish you had stayed home up to, well you pick the number? 7,000
On average I would say you are looking at 2000 and up depending on what you are willing to settle for.

My regular had a little chat to me last tour about current rates.
I met her beginning 2004, and I would rate body 7/8, face 8/9...very tidy by my standards. She was a diamond in a rough little bar, where she continues to work. Started out a little starfish, but now top ride with GFE.
In 2004 BF B500, LT asked for B1,300, I paid B1,000...took her four days, and as I usually do, took her cinema, restaurants, clubbing, karaoke etc and paid her way - for my amusement, but she certainly enjoyed the fun. As a result she was available to me 24hrs/day.
I based future tours payments on that, but always thew in B3,000 - B4,000 bonus at the end. My guess it was averaging about B1,700, but she never really got how I worked it out...had a lot to do with baht remaining at tour end.
While that is not relevant, following is:
She says, "you know my friends in bar get B2,000 LT". I said bullshit, but she insisted it was true. I said they must ask for B2,000, but get B1,000, and tell you B2,000 to save 'face'... so we agreed after much discussion that they usually score around B1,500 these days.
I said "they are not getting 7-8 days like you, they get one LT here and there, and no sanuk"
Then she says "you now my boyfren", I not want B2,000 from you teeruk, just need B10,000 baht this time because "I poor girl"...no munneee. She doesn't know the thinking behind how much I pay, but her number was pretty spot-on...I gave her a little more anyway for first class GFE, plus she gets little goodies from me along the way. Don't want to be cheap / don't want to be stupid...a fine line.
So my limited experience tells me:
Most Places:
B/F B500 unchanged since 2003.
S/T Don't know, cause I prefer L/T.
L/T asking B1,500 but usually B1,000 in 2003/4 now asking B2,000 but usually B1,500.
There are always bargains. Two roughies wanted to go home with me for B1,500 for both last tour. Couldn't do it cause I had another waiting in the hotel. Probably better off...too rough.
Soi33 which I tend to avoid:
B/F running around B1,200 to B1,500.
L/T I usually get a S/T late that prefers to stay over B1,500, but starting price is B2,000 up.

Great summary LiamOZ, I figure your estimations is on the spot here. BTW I also checked the Phuket prices, still looks to follow BKK pricing.
I often end up in a longer GFE style LT and agree that the extras put in compensates for the slightly lower payment at 1000/day or less plus a few K's extra after 4-5 days.
For a one night LT with breakfast the rise to 1500 sounds like a normal development.

just got back from pattaya 2 weeks agao was chatting to a friend in the hotel who sayd he still pays 1000 a night even though a few want more but u can always find some that will go for a 1000 a night LT.or even if u are keeping them for a few days.i used to only pay a 1000 a day till 2 years ago now I have a permenant lady know and used to pay her a 1000 a day.
the reason some of the ladies are asking for more is that a lot of younger blokes who come out for a 2 week holiday but do not research what is going on in thailand and have know idea what to pay.i even spoke to a bloke on the plane who payed a girl 4000 a day told him he got ripped off but he said she was good in bed and could not get enough of it.so when I told him that I could still get a girl like that for a 1000 a day for the same and more then he did he soon realised the mistake he made.

I repeat a text which I posted here some months ago.
Prices in Bangkok (lower Sukumvhit) :
The prices which I normally pay:
For a girl from Soi Cowboy: 1000 Baht LT; sometimes 1500 Baht, but never more.
For a GoGo girl from NEP: 1500 Baht LT
For a freelancer girl (Biergarten Soi 7, Thermae, Nana disco etc.) :
1000 Baht or 1500 LT
Only if I want to have a girl absolutely, because she is nice and very sexy then I am willing to pay 2000 Baht LT. But never more!!!
Here are some hints and examples:
1. On my last trip I made following experiences in one of the big Hollywood bars (Carousel) on the second floor (American 3. floor) : I saw a stunner dancing, made eye contact and smiled at her. We were flirting by our eyes and our smiles every time she came along the carousel by my side. When she finished dancing, she came to me and said: “I have already customer over there, he spent a lady drink and he will pay bar for me. He pays 2500 Baht LT. Come back tomorrow. Then I go with you.”
Next evening I went to that bar rather early, about 8. She saw me and came to me and we start flirting, chatting and laughing, had great sanuk together. She was very beautiful, nice tits, long legs, a real stunner. About 2 hours later she went with me for 1500 Baht LT. And she gave me that special girlfriend sex. She stayed with me till noon the next day. And I am not that Brad Pitt type and I am not a young man any more.
2. Avoid the “expensive bars” like the Rainbow Bars. These are the bars where our Japanese colleagues destroyed the prices. Every girl of these bars quotes 3000 Baht LT. That is ridiculous. You can find in some of the smaller bars in NEP like DC10 or Sexy Nights pretty girls who go with you LT for 1500 Baht.
3. Take your time. You can find in Thermae, Biergarten, Soi Cowboy, Nana Disco, Grace Coffee shop and – in general: lower Sukhumvhit - many beautiful girls who go with you for 1000 or 1500 Baht long time and who give you a wonderful night.
And you can find in many bars of Soi Cowboy beautiful cuties, warm hearted creatures, who give you sexual pleasure, who give you that special girl friend sex all night long and even the following morning and day; for only 1000 or 1500 Baht. You must have a little patience and comb through the bars to find the right girl.
4. There is one important rule being successful with bargirls and freelancers:
Make sure that there is a little chemistry between you and the girl! That sure helps a lot!
You must get the right feeling for the girl.
I am always campaigning against overpaying!
My motto: "Don't overpay the girls". Pay a fair price, but don’t overpay!
1. From 1000 Baht to 1500 Baht for LT is a good price for a girl.
That is a lot of money for Thai standard.
2. It is a buyers market! There are so many girls. There is an excess supply of women; many of them nice and sexy. The bars are empty with customers and loaded with girls. You are the one who can choose and who can dictate prices, in a certain bandwidth.
3. In my humble opinion it is brainless to pay prices over 2000 Baht for LT. Don't pay 2500 or even 3000 Baht for LT. Some girls will not agree to the above prices, but I send them on their way because it's a buyer’s market!!! This is why I am always campaigning against overpaying, it is just driving the price levels upwards.
