I'm working in Japan and have been for the past year.
How painful or expensive would it be to bring my TGF to Japan for a 30 day visit?
I've sent her money every month for the past 4 years, directly to her bank. She has visited me in Bahrain and Hong Kong multiple times.
I've heard stories that she has to have over 200,000 baht in her bank account, police background check, job history and family data. She was a typical bar girl (we'll I wouldn't say typical), now she's staying with family in Udon Thani and living off the money I send her (500.00 U.S. a month).

Already seen the Japan Embassy in Thailand website, seems pretty clear............however, I've heard about checking bank accounts (requiring 200,000-500,000 in her Thai bank account) etc.
It it's just filling out the form and submitting it, then no problem............can't be that easy!!!
