Not too much of a player these days (young Thai wife and kids) but wondering if any members can offer up some insights as to the effects (if any) on ST/LT and drinks pricing since the recent collapse of economies or is BG business recession proof? Therories, anecdotes or actual figures would be interesting.
Personally I must admit current climate has affected my spend and on the few occasions I have been 'playing away' the eagerness is up but the pricing is holding.

I think whats important right now is if you can hang on to your job or keep your buisness going, any adjustments the girls might be making won't mean anything to someone without a source of income.

I was in Tilac the other night and asked a girl who was interested in me how much for ST and her answer was Barfine + 2K. I declined. I didn't really barter as I wasn't really in the mood to deal with anything and was going to meet my mates later anyways.

But likely the answer to the problem will be to scam the few remaining customers and up the prices....

Ah yes ! The Thai answer to all things troublesome, even TAT, TRUE, THAI and all the other big companies do the exact same.
Instead of incentivising the customers there are, we will punish them by increasing prices and lowering service to cover against the drop in demand !

It’s not just a Thai phenomenon. It’s happening big time here in Dubai. For example trade is dropping off so how do the bars respond, promotions? No they introduce an entrance fee and/or cut back the entertainment.
