This might be a long shot but I'm interested to try to find a certain girl who I believe hangs out in Nana. She was featured on the girls-of-bangkok website, her name is Peung, she's 25, very pretty and she often wears glasses (which might be her most distinguishing feature). Does anybody know this girl or which bar she can be found in ?? I have a thing for cute girls who wear glasses !

I havenĄt met very often TGs wearing glasses but so many of them just wear glasses with plain glass just to appear to be more sophisticated. Many Katoeys do that as well....other members may give you more hints....good luck!

Actually, now that you mention it .... it would seem the % of Thai people wearing glasses is lower than that of westerners. Is it that statistically they have better eyesight? or just that they do not bother so much to get them?

^ really? I think more Thais and Asians for that matter wear glasses/contacts a lot more. Working girls however, whether because of income or fear of not looking cute..... seem to care less about their eyesight (and skip on the glasses). I imagine they have spent fewer nights pouring over books (which does shorten your eyesight in poor lighting).

I have glasses with a very slight correction, but I wear them only on very rare occasions. My experience with TGs and other SEAGs is that when they borrow my glasses, they go like "wow, now I can see better". Maybe they do not wear glasses, as they are unaware or got used to not seeing as good as with buying and wearing some. Financial issues in the province could be a barrier, too. I have met a few LBs that wear glasses with plain glass, only because as they think they look smarter.

My Thai GF has pretty poor eyesight but refuses to wear glasses because 'they are not nice and make me look older'.I offered to buy contact lenses for her but she said she 'couldn't put sometihing into her eye'.So she is quite happy to walk around with defective eyesight.

Hmm, thanks for the replies guys but I'm no nearer finding the spectacled babe. Regarding TGs with poor eyesite, maybe thats no bad thing judging the state of some of the guys that pick them up. If they had 20-20 vision maybe some of them would think twice.

i love a woman in glasses.
one of my friends wanted some with clear lenses and i was happy to buy some for her.
she looked good.
another of my friends wore them naturally and that was what attracted me to her in the first place.
but the last time i saw her,she had dispensed with them and was wearing cintacts,shame.

Maybe they just can't afford glasses. My TG couldn't see distance clearly. So I bought her glasses this last trip. She got an eye exam and the glasses made within an hour. It only cost 2,400 baht. She's happy, she can see. I only hope she doesn't leave me now that she can see!
