My first topic ever...
Well, it is my second time in Thailand. And I still can't believe how difficult it is to find a girl dressed as a FEMALE, wearing skirts and stilettos.
One would think that if a girl works as a prostitute she will make her best to look sexy. Wrong.
The girls along Sukhmvit and in the beer bars all dress the same uniform : jeans , T-shirt, sport shoes. And no make up, of course. Maybe one TG out of 50 wears a skirt. One out of 200 wears a skirt and high heels. One out of 1000 wears miniskirt and stilettos. To date (4 days spent here) I just saw ONE "street" girl dressed in a really sexy way.
Most dress like (male) Marines on R&R.
Oh, and that girl, I couldn't get her : was not fast enough.
Not surprisingly, she drawed LOTS of attention.
Go Go bar girls dress sexy, of course.
During the show. Before coming in your room, they will promptly leave their wonderful fetish outfits and dress in jeans and sport shoes. Of course, they wash their face and take all the make up away.
An exception in this sad, sad scene is the never too exhalted Eden Club : ALL girls there wear dresses, even if only a minority (1/3?) has stiletto shoes, AND THEY ARE AVAILABLE FOR KEEPING THEM ON.
I was there only once, but will return soon.
A slightly better situation is found in Pattaya , mainly due to the fact that you can have sex in special rooms above the Go Go Bar. So, even if the girls invariably tend to try to get rid of stockings, shoes etc. before sex, it is possible to explain that one prefers them on.
The final solution is , of course, take a girl for a week or more, buy her clothes, shoes etc. an finally enjoy the view. But I found some problems in this situation too : even if a girl agrees to dress sexy in the bedroom she's often too shy to wear anything different than jeans outside.
I think TG generally don't have the perception of how many more clients they would get if they dressed in a feminine way.
Although some men admittedly prefer jeans and socks to skirts and stockings, they are a minority.
True, men tend to get on with what they find : this is why they are able to bear the sight of wives that hang around in trousers and slippers (I personally would file for divorce in an instant, cost what it should).
But Thai sex industry is dependent on customer satisfaction. Am I the only one who is not satisfied ?
One last note : it is incredible, but "normal" (nonpro) Thai girls often dress in a very sexy way. Offices and department stores are a far more exciting sight than Beer Bars... if only one could have THESE girls....

Forgot to add : there is one place where BKK pro girls dress sexy : Thaniya (not sure of the spelling) the Japanese-reserved street near PatPong.
The girls there are beautiful, but , more important, invariably wear lycra miniskirts and stiletto heels. Often even gloves. I hear they're expensive, but they are worth it.
There is only one problem : Farangs are not welcome in that place.
Bars have signs explaining " Japanese only" , and if one hangs around too much even in the streets itself, after a while some gentlemen come and invite the obviously illiterate Farang to go elsewhere.
This is because Japanese men don't like that "their girls" go with dirty Gaijin.
It seems that only in the West we have this obsession with respecting other nationalities. Ý

Finally, a brother with the same complaint as me. I was beginning to think I was stranger than I had previously believed. This has always been frustrating to me as well. There so much here that serves to our sexual fantasies and the ladies are usually of the "right mentality" (whatever that means), why is being dressed for sex (in public and not) a relatively rare thing?

i for one do not care what they dress like.
i'm not the world's most fashion conscious person when i go out at night.
i find most of them are 'acceptable'.
i love them for who and what they are,clothes are not the most important thing to me.
a few of you have seen pics of some of my girls and i think it's very rarely they were out in jeans and t-shirts.

I have to agree that I like to see a female dressed in a skirt and high heels. It does not matter if they are a working female or not. All my ex-gf's in the U.S dressed in skirts, dresses, and high heels. Very nice!!! ha ha ha!! Nothing wrong with jeans, but nothing can compare to a seeing a nice pair of legs!! ha ha ha!!
Back to BKK, I do wish that more females would dress in the skirts and heels. I will say that jeans and a nice shirt also look good, but I do not care for the messy jeans look. It's the look that you find with more go go bar females. Nothing against them, just not my cup of tea.
But, I will also agree with Nokna on I do want the females to be themselves. If she has a great personality, then I would never pass on her because of her dress. But, dressing to my taste is a bonus for me and them!! ha ha ha!!
This is why I usually like to go to MP's and G-Clubs!!

Fundamentally I agree with all that you post.
But last trip I WAS chatting to a girl who was wearing a skirt. She was on the opposite side of a bar and I went to join her.
We were getting along just fine and I was about to ask her out. But she interrupted me to go to the wash room. She walked away from me so obviously I got the chance to inspect those legs.
Frankly they were not great. Had she been wearing trousers I would have been out of there with her but I changed my mind.

I have dated a couple of TG's in my life and I found that only for special events would they wear dresses. ÝI prefer women in dresses too but most thai women are so beautiful it really doesnt matter to me

Has you noticed that many working females when they are not working wear jeans or pants and loose cloths.
But, most professional females wear skirts and heels.
So, it seems like if we want the skirts and heels look on a continuous basis that we might have to date non-working females.
Just an observation!!!
