You will be staying just a short walk from Cowboy and going there makes sense.
You might want to consider stopping at Lolitas before hitting the bars for a quickie BJ ?? I find this a nice way to start an evening 
Barfines apparently will be double (B1000 or so) that night so if that bothers you, consider heading down Sukhumvit to between soi 5 and 13 .. there are almost always girls out there until six am.. admittedly the quality goes down the later it gets, but at 2 am there is plenty to choose from. Just look for the areas that are serving food and beverages.. if you see a girl that you think is attractive, just stop and say hello.. virtually every girl out there is available.. and who knows you might try a double just for fun??
As the bars will be allowed to stay open late that means that there might be less late night street action??, but I think that the 2 am crowd will be bigger due to the holiday??
If for some reason you run really late, then consider stopping at the bars before checking into the hotel and bring a girl back with you. This is not a big hassle if you travel light (the only way to travel IMO) .. I used to do this year's ago.. stop at Thermae and pick up a girl before heading off to my apt .
Just curious, if you arrive at 11, why will you not get to your hotel until 1 or 2 ?? I find that I get out of the airport in less than 1/2 hour (sometimes less, tho I don't check luggage) and then 1/2 max in the taxi ..
Last trip I was in my apt at 12:10 and the flight was sheduled to arrive at 11:55 ..
the trip before, I was in my apt before the scheduled arrival time, tho must admit that was a first as the flight was 55 minutes early .. a lot to pick up in that flight.. I figured the pilot was horny

How about if you are on the 1:05am arrival on China Air. Street action or Thermae/Grace hotel pretty much the only options if 2am is realistic for arrival on Sukhumvit?

Take it easy. If you arrive around 1am and only after you realize are ready to go out, I strongly recommend walk down to Sukhumvit and take a cab heading CM2 to get a nice freelancer to accompany you the rest of the night.
If you arrive around 2am choices squeeze a bit. Maybe a round at Grace Coffee Shop (Soi 3) or maybe Siam Hotel (New Petchburi Rd).
Ah! one member said he got a soapy late at night and few brothers mentioned that this place might be HARLEM MP (see more info on this place at the main page of this website). Have fun!

grace is dead so need to go there! it is still open but nobodzy goes there anymore as they check id's and you are not allowed to serve alcoholic drinks or have music! the boys in brown for sure killed that fine place!
