I'm staying in Novotel Siam Sq in a couple of weeks, just wanted to know the general standard of Thai girls there, whats the usual price for these girls and also is the Novotel cool about taking a girl to your room Hotel.
Also, is it good every night, I'll be there Mon & Tues so will it still be busy ?

Stayed at that hotel about 2 years ago and vowed I would never stay there again. Despite having booked a double room I still got caught for a guest fee and the security guys were damn rude.
There has been a post in the last few days where there was again a charge involved but it was not clear if he had booked a double room.
I suggest you change hotel if you can

Thanks for the tip Dave, I haven't read one good reveiw of Novotel in Siam Sq so will probably book another hotel. I don't fancy the obvious choices like Nana hotel etc, any recommendations, Novotel Lotus for example or Tai-Pan ?

I've stayed at the Tai Pan before and liked what I got for the price. However, I've never tested their guest policy.
I can tell you that they have a single entrance, small lobby, and usually two doormen at the entrance. Also, it's been posted on another board that the hotel prefers not to be listed as 'guest-friendly'.

Someone did post TAIPAN as a guest friendly hotel as far as you can check in to a double room (B/.1.200)....try to take a look also at the CITY LODGE, MANHATTAN or AMBASSADOR and maybe Grand Pacific as potential choices as well. I have also been checking online for a hotel for my forthcoming return to BKK,I want to get away from Nana as the rooms are sad.
I may go for Tai Pan or Ambassador,I have 3 weeks to go so I'll base my choice on postings.
Girl friendly a must,also prices,cleanliness etc.

Stayed at Tai-Pan in January. Sure they are guest friendly. No hassle at all. The hotel is very near to Soi cowboy.
I have seen another agent suggesting about 1050 baht per night which is a good deal. I will try to find it and post if I do.

Try not to book Novotel It was a terrible experience for me had to pay $3000 baht for the gal and $1000 baht to the hotel I rather stay somewhere esle.I`m going to stay in D`Ma pavillion Hotel .Maybe I can give you all a better choice next time hope I don`t make any mistake again...lol

I haven't contacted this site but they are quoting 1020 baht per night incl. b/fast for Tai-Pan hotel. I paid more than that in January. I would call the hotel good value. It doesn't have large restaurant and bar is small but I never use hotel facilities anyway.
