CM2 = Concept CM2 at the basement of Novotel Hotel, Siam Square. It is a disco where you can find many girl who are students, freelancing over there. Have had many.

As I understand it it's a good place to pick up girls who are not regular freelancers, but not a Hotel to stay in, according to what I read from Dave. I'll add i CM2 to the list for my trip in June.

BK is this a common occurence?: girls who are invloved in school hitting clubs for extra cash.
And are they in fact "just earning extra cash" or are they like the other Thai Girls who are earning that money to send back to families?
I'll have to walk around CM2 to see what I can see!
***I guess it goes without saying that if you're in there and a girl warms up to you, she's probably not just looking for dinner out and a night of wild sex... She's looking for money??

The stuff concerning TG students engaged as freelancers is quite common in Thailand. I had the opportunity to read a research concerning "prostitution in cities and rural areas"....the results were amazing.
To make it short, they concluded that certainly so many Univ. TGs and other students and other workers with low income are engaged in freelancing. However, the reasons for doing so, in about 90% of the surveyed TGs, was far away from giving money to the parents (hometown).
Surveyed girls said that after having a customer on the evening they usually don't wait too much before going to the closest shopping mall in order to buy expensive stuff e.g. Louis Vuitton purses, etc. ....and we all know that this junk stuff is bloody expensive....
Yeah...this is weird but the research had an explanation. They said that this behavior can be understood as a result of the compulsive behavior of Thai people to buy stuff..... Every single TG wanna have a nice purse or a fancy pair of shoes or even a nice haircut at ZOTOS or any other rip-off hair dressers, wear an expensive T-shirt, etc. Thus, when these girls see one friend wearing/using those things they immediately wanna have the same stuff or even one of better "quality". As they rarely have sexual education they think that to make love with a stranger is not that bad, something that can be forgotten easily. Amazing, eh? Remember that years ago the Bangkok Post made an article saying that Chula Univ. students were ahanging around Center Point at Siam Square searching "customers"....same stuff in other cities....The story was put again on the table few months ago, I think....
....Life is like that. I feel very pitty on this stuff and after talking also to my ex-MP TG and others the result is the same. Instead of giving back home a big amount of money they preffer to expend it taking expensive lunch and buying expensive stuff. We should consider the type of under-ground culture ruling these cuties. We can't change the idiosyncrasy....things will go on till the government makes a huge effort....Incredible. Eventhough, more than one TG said they use to have short-time boyfriends....hmmmmm
Concerning CM2. I think it is the best place to pick up medium scale (and even high class) hookers sometimes. They are all mixed up. You will get shit paid workers, univ. students and MP TGs coming around midnight. Nice place to choose form a nice cocktail....not to mention a nice Russian, if you are looking for Eastern Eupeans....CHEERS!!!!

Never went after a student, but I have chatted with many on Bangkok Chat. If you want I am sure you could arrange a meeting.
I on the other hand still think that is too much work and enjoy meeting a girl face to face and seeing if our personalities click. Was in Soi 33 and wam meet someone I had to barfine. We had a great time her showing me new places in BKK and having a nice dinner. There was no charge for the night we just clicked. She sure wasn't after a Gucci purse.
