Hey bro's...
I like to give gift's when I spend the day with a girl.
What do you guys think a good gift from the USA would be to give to a girl?
Something obviously that is much much cheaper IN the US vs in LOS or much harder to obtain than when in LOS.
Yeah Yeah Yeah please don't say something like 1000.00 an ounce perfume or gold bricks or a Corvette.
I am being serious.
Or would it be better to take the girl shopping?
These are things I do not mind doing as it is fun for me and money is usually not an issue. But still a Rolex watch or a diamond tennis bracelet are out of the question.
Also I would like it to be something she would keep. As I understand it a lot of stuff you buy for the girl in LOS only gets returned once you leave and they go get the cash back.
Any Suggestions?

She is probably only interested in something GOLD, but for christ sake, dont take her into the shop with you or she will pick the 5 or 6 B bracelet or worst the 10 B (70,000 Baht)necklace.
Go buy her something like a 1/2 B(3500Baht) or 1 B (7000Baht) ring/earings/ankle bracelet etc, on your own if she means something to you, or you have had a few good days with her.

Well being nice is1 thing. Being Stupid is entirly another.
70,000 translates to over 1,500 USD.
No thank you.
Besides none of these girls will "mean something" to me. I won't be love struck or anything. I just like giving gifts. But a 1B bracelet or ear rings, that's cool. 150.00 USD is more of what I was thinking.
Also was just wondering if there was anything USA specific that they may like.
For instance I went to the Dominican Republic and everyone down there wanted Nike shoes.
So when I went back, I brought a few pairs.
It's all a good time.
But 100 - 150 per gift is cool.

No, I have tried shopping with them, for Clothes, Shoes, Underwear and Hand Bags (you name it) and yes they do get some fun out of it.
The problem is (if your shopping with them at Emporium, World Trade etc) that you are probably spending three times the normal price that they would pay for at same/similar looking item, when they go shopping at the market or in the streets by themselves.
What really made one go off the planet (all night) was when I gave her gold jewellery in the GoGo one night (I arranged to pick her up there) and she was able to flash it to her friends, as a sign of what she was worth or what she mean to me. A very happy girl all night.
Also with GOLD, its their form of tradable security. If they run out of money they porn (for 90% of the value of gold at that time). They buy it back later. They also can wear it to impress their friends.
Status is important to a TG.

Al, this is the ultimate cheap charlie gift that smacks of not being one. Tried and tested.
Just the other day I was hurrying to meet a honey and wanted to soften her up a bit. Now I always make it a point to regularly pick up the miniatures of perfume they give away for FREE at cosmetics counters in malls. Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Gucci, you name it, I've probably got some of it somewhere. Just give her a few of these miniatures (they look great too). It goes down rather well with the girls, I could tell by the way she went down on me later

that is a great idea, but i would think it would go over better with the younger girls ( 18-25 ) as compare to the older ladies ( 25-35...) wouldn't you say ?
one night i was with a 20 yr. old from Dollhouse ( SC ), i had my music CD book with me ( 50+ CD holder ) she stayed up almost all night listening to them on my walkman, of course she took several breaks in between to put a big smile on my face  i gave her few burned CD's ( us songs )( pop/ techno ) & she was really happy about it. when i asked her if she wanted more next time i visited she was really excited about it tho i doubt it would have been the same with a lady who is 27-28...just my experience...for what is worth...tho i'm sure she would have prefered gold

I normally take a few t-shirts from Canada with a Canadian flag on them, the girls I give them to seem pretty happy with the gift and I am normally happy with what they give me.
