Often getting asked, - how/where do I find a good TG, i.e. one not seen in Sukhmvit after midnight ! - OK, granted it takes some time and patience, but had a great example yesterday, was at Suphan Kwai, yes, rule #1, get to an area with no tourists, was looking at some appliances, things much cheaper out this way, and this total star, 19, shorts and T shirts, with the flip-flops on, and a very decent set !! -[ yeah, we found an OK TV also] could not do enough, ended up sitting in the shop chatting, had a couple of average mates, so they went out and got some food, bottom line, in my hey-day, would have had the phone number, and be taking her off to RCA/Dance fever etc tonight, - point Im making, she was a star, and she was at least available to "bai tee-o" I know many guys here for only a week or so havent got the time to play around with this type of girl, you would need to take her/her friends out for a few times first at least to make any progress, but the fact that by and large they are all approachable, at least makes it worth a try at times - always plenty of time to go grab a P4P from Nana later, after you send her home with a handshake - and by the time of your next visit, you may have won her over !

Good post, TPE. What would be a better day to hang around there, weekdays or weekend?
On a related note, has any one tried dating the girls working in Starbucks, or any of the shops in the shopping malls. I heard of a guy who got lots of dates, rather easily, he would simply walk up and ask them. Trouble is I can't speak a word of Thai and most of these girls don't seem to speak much English. I was wondering if any one who is fluent has tried this route and his experience.

Got to be a good method......I would ask whereas in the west I never would. You don't seem to get regarded as a piece of shit for asking here.....polite requests will be responded to in a similarly polite way......you will get lots of "no's"...but the "yes'" will be worth it

Exactly right Guys, - at least you wont get blanked, ignored, riddiculed etc, these girls will be genuinely flattered you asked - of course a big plus if you speak some thai, and also be prepared to have 2 or 3 friends come along - shopping malls are good, because you can go to an MK suki restaurant, a sure win, as all Thais like it, and you can feed about 6 of you for under 1000bt - one problem is the hours they have to work, and the fact the only get a couple of days of a month, - but certainly worth investigating if you have the time, or maybe get bored in the late afternoons and have nothing better to do, and again, the shops/malls further away from the tourist areas are best, e.g. Central Pingaow or the Mall Ban Khae, or even Fashion Island. - you are still almost a novelty in these places, the girls in the Sukhumvit/Silom Malls are mostly wise to the farang needs nowdays !
