Contrary to popular "farang" opinion, most women in Thailand aren't whores. Sure, the possibilities of "scoring" is alot higher than in western countries, but some of the "game" limitations still apply.
If one presents themselves as the typical farang sex tourist(basically any farang wearing beach wear in krungthep) chances are very low. Also, uni students are young women whom are up to date on the latest fashions and styles arguably.
The easiest explanation would be: if you never had the ability to score "regular" girls back home, you'll still have a hard time doing so with "regular" Thai girls, albeit not impossible.
Best advice: dress presentably. hygiene is key. don't gawk at every young fine uni chix constantly.
Best place for viewing uni chix: Siam Center/Discovery + sois near it; Centerpoint.

That's your problem you put brothels and university students on the same level. Don't you think there is slight difference ?
Your question was just plain stupid to begin with ("is there a secret sign" ! ) and then you ask for school girls. What should we think of you ?
And since you can read and speak Thai you must know the country very well and I don't see why you need help.
