Normaily I look at a womans "ring finger" to see if she is wearing a wedding or engagement ring, but while I was at my friends wedding in the Philippines I learned that they wear their rings on the right hand.
Are wedding rings worn on the right hand anywhere else, or just in the Philippines.
(not that I have ever seen a ring plug a hole, but it is not morally right to f_ck some guys girl friend or wife...maybe it is better not to look LOL)

CCVB - Here (The Netherlands) the wedding ring is worn on the right hand also. I think it's only devout Catholics that were them on the left hand. (and I don't think we have many of them).

Some countries and cultures have really strict rules and superstitions about what hand gets used for what. The right is for eating and greeting, the left is for wiping your ass and I can't think of a single place that's reversed. So any country with a preference like that and doing wedding rings is probably on the list. I'd be interested to know what mid-east Arabs do.

I always thought that most BG's have husbands anyway.
Morally right? Well if the girl says NO! then you don't have to worry about it being right or wrong.
If the girl says yes, then she is the one that's wrong.
If not you, then someone else probably.

Most ABAF's (American Born Asian Females) who wear any type of ring on their lefthand 4th finger are usually taken. So, they either have a bf or a husband. I would say that in Hawaii that 90% of the females adhere to this, so be carefull there hitting on a female who's wearing a ring on the lefthand. A huge samoan guy's shadow might might suddenly appear behind you!! ha ha ha!!
For Asians that were born in Asia, you really can't tell. I think it's a 50/50 split on the lefthand. I know plenty of females who have bf's or are married and don't wear any rings. I would think that the righthand rings are even less common when indicating if she is taken or not.
I guess the best way to know is to just ask!! ha ha ha!!
But, I'm like you and if I see a ring on the lefthand, I'm one to stay away.
