Hello guys...
I am really a beginner here in this forum, but thanks to some of you I have had the pleasure to discover many new things about Bkk, and I am happy to be almost ready to go there for my third time!
But the former two were not so satisfactory....I really was a 'tourist'...nothing more than one massage and couple of go-go bars.
I have learnt from all of you that in Bkk I can get much more, and as I am not a 100% 'sex-maniac' (yet), and being a little romantic man, I am dreaming to have a very deep GFE in bkk.
How to do?...where to start?...are some places better than others for this target?

Warning: this is a highly subjective question!
Of the standard places, I would guess that a beer bar (or bar beer) or similar environment would be the best to find a girlfriend for your trip or longer. Reason being that it seems these girls aren't BF'ed as frequently and are more likely to want to have a long term thing while you are there. Better, IMO, would be to find a place where you like to relax, and try to meet someone there. For example, I always liked the pool bars more than the Go-gos, and if I can find someone who gravitates to that environement it's more likely we'll at least have something in common. You can do this at any number of places that are 'tangential' to the naughty nightlife industry: hotel receptions, Thai massage places, nearby restaurants, etc. As a relative newbie you're not likely to go far by just walking up to a stranger on a BTS platform. It's nice to have an excuse to strike up a conversation, even if it's to ask her what she'd recommend from the menu.
Now, how do you get there. Every guy has his own style, or lack thereof, but I think if you start a little more traditionally you'll do better. So instead of pay a BF and take her back to your hotel, how about go to dinner and movie first? Or at least dinner. Treat her nicely and she'll treat you nicely is a good general rule.
Caveat emptor: one thing you should have taken in from this board is that by pursuing the girl in this way one or both of you is possible to develop real feelings. That's where the heartache starts.

I agree that a longer term deal is more likely to be found in the beer or pool bars, rather than MP or gogo's.
But again it depends on the budget. The right amout of money can buy almost any of the working girls.
And yeah BigdUSA. Your word of caution should be well noted. Looking for a GFE can be a BIG mistake unless you know the rules of the game.

I think seubeu's Caveat emptor is well put. It's the old saying, "be careful what you wish for, your wish may come true." These ladies are looking for long term relationships and financial security, and if they like you, you may find things accelerating at a pace you are not comfortable with. Important to ask yourself ahead of time (and be realistic with yourself) what you really are looking for, and then be sure you stay within those bounds. Asian woman have a very different check list for what makes a good husband than do, for instance, America woman. The are pragmatic and caring.

Dave, I agree that this can be done anywhere, and possibly more "clinically" in some places. For example, go into Gogo, open wallet, explain to mamasan what you want. Pay at the cashier on your way out. But to me that would rather detract from the experience itself. YMMV.

Hey brother BuBu, brother seubeu speaks a simple truth. My hangout of choice is also the beer bars because as brother seubeu said the ladies don't get BF'd as often as the ladies in say, gogo bars or massage parlors so when it does happen they are usually very happy for the chance to go out and have some fun. If you happen to meet a lady that you like don't be in too big a hurry to BF her and leave right away. Stay there for a little while and get to know her a little better. Play a couple games of pool and let her kick your butt at Connect 4 a few times. This will give the two of you a chance to talk and find out how much you have in common. One other thing to consider. Because the hostesses in beer bars aren't BF'd as often as ladies in other areas of the "business" they are probably a slightly safer bet as far as STD's are concerned. I'm not saying not to be careful, please do be, I'm just saying that I like the odds of 1 or 2 BF's per week over 1 or 2 BF's per day ( Just guessing here ). Peace
