Dear All,
in the years i've already spent in LOS, i have noticed that out of 100 farangs, 90% of them fall for TG from Isaan.....most of them taken from GGBars or MP, few of them belongin to a more "respectable" enviroment.....
I am wondering why isaan ladies seem to have such a great charme among the farangs (given that i am married with a Bangkokian lady with 50% Chiang Mai blood).....is it the color of the skin, the attitude or else?
Or is the fact that most of the girls working in GGBars and MP are from Isaan?
Everytime i have some friends (veterans or beginners)coming to LOS, they all are more keen to appreciate
isaan females.......so, why is that?

There are probably many factors involved. Off the cuff, it's a numbers game, there are simply more girls from Isaan working in Bangkok, compared to other parts of Thailand. They come from a poorer region, and are less educated, so the easiest job is at a bar and in some cases MPs. Since the first places that the farang will hit are the bars, guess what they find?

I think BK is right, but I have always found Issan girls nicer, far more humble, more hospitable, and prettier. However, I their sexual skills seem to be less than those from other regions.

Here's another possibility. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that most REGULAR Thai's consider Issan ladies to be pretty low in Thai society and are beneath their notice. So for the first time in a lot of these ladies lives they finally are given a chance to find out what it feels like to be loved by someone that doesn't consider them to be low class. Any wonder why most of these ladies will try their best to latch on to this guy and keep that feeling alive for as long as possible. Additionally to the point made by BK, another factor is that the top, most beautiful, better educated girls, by virtue of being at the top of the pyramid, they can be the ones choosing the man they want.
And all other things being equal, they will choose a Thai over a farang. Thus, the farangs have to satisify themselves with what is left -which is good anyway, but is devoid of the AAA+ girls.

some good points raised by residents.
personally i find it's just pot luck if i end up with an Isaan girl,though most of them have been from that part of the Kingdom.
but i've been with girls from BKK and southern Thailand.
as well as girls from Laos,Cambodia,Myanmur,Vietnam and Malaysia.
if i like her enough to BF her,then i would normally expect her to have come from Isaan,but i get the nice surprises and variety sometimes.
but no matter to me where they come from.

Both of you guys are right. I'm noticing more arrogance from the Central and Northern girls and more Balkanization by the Issans and their Southern Sister.

Maybe I am over-analyzing this, but I am a military historian and a trained therapist so I get fascinated by this shit. Issan girls seem to really detest Thai, Indian, Arab, Asian, and black men. Too. They also seem to appreciate white hairly rotund chests.

Some points (that havnt already been made):
1. Issan girls are darker skinned and therefore not the "ideal" central or northern Thai's idea of beautiful. As most of us dont care how dark someone's skin is .... need I say more.
2. Playing the devils advocate about how much Thai ladies seem to be turned off Thai men - dont kid yourselves. Most of them, even the BG's have Thai BF's and I remember reading somewhere once that Thai's are the most ethnically pure race in Asia. Makes me thinks anyway.

hmm I always thought that they were so beautiful because they have the blend of Indian/asian genes
big eyes/breasts/lips tiny muscular bodies that naturally tend to low body fat ratio
and hear me out on this one
given the long tradition of P4P in LOS I am developing the theory that the world's (before airplanes - asian region horny guys*) horniest guys always find their way here. then they make babies. thus the gene for being horny (or enjoying sex) propagates through the population with greater frequency. Classic feedback loop ensues...

Some personal reviews of the messages so far posted by our bros:
Tin Man: my question was focues on the avarage farang male's taste, not concerning thais: it's a common fact that thais consider "dark skin" as low class.
The purity of thai ethnic is position quite difficult to sustain: they are a mix of chinese, burmese and cambodian blood (khmer).......the most pure are the Japanese. Just a clarification
Kaisersoldaten: just like in any given country in this world, in Thailand we do experience a sort of "racism" between the different ethnic groups....nothing new under the sun......and for what concerns "white hairly rotund chests", animals are always headed to the green hills, in this case the green notes........
