Bro's I had to register a new handle for this post as I find it too revealing using my normal one for this rather chocking experience & thus this post from a 'stranger'.
A BG friend over more than 3 years told me matter of factly today that one of her BG friends just informed her she was tested HIV+. It did not quite register with me what she had just told me & it really still hasn't yet. She just blurted it out like that, but I was flattered that she told me even I was expecting her to contact me for quite some other matters...
The thing is I know this Pattaya BG in question also & I actually had sex with her over the course of 1 nigtht about a year ago & I remember not using condoms all the time!
As of Last month I met her by chance again, but 'luckily' I'm already fixed up for the night & declines her offer to spend the night...
Still I was tested recently & all clean, but does this stuff still scare the shit out of me or what? Can only begin to imagine how she feels & how I best respond if/when we get in touch?
But the most shocking part is that she suspects me of having infected her & thus don't see herself having indulged in other risky encounters than ours! Actually I never though of her as a 'high risk' girl & thus got a real wake up call to consider as this is my 1st known close encounter with HIV/AIDS(assuming she was infected back then?) & to this day the only one I know of 1st hand with a confirmed case.
She reportedly deals with it pretty calm even the incident is rather tragic as she was asked by a newfound german BF down in PTY to get tested before he would 'involve' himself further in their relationship. Being a bit insecure she gets an early secret test for herself, then another & a 3rd also confirms the sad case, which he eventually learns about & she's out as far as he's concerned, while she lets us know she loves him.
Not long before that she has lived with a Dutch BF in Amsterdam, but still she has no clear idea where she could have gotten infected...
So gents & ladies forum friends all I hoped to gain with this humble post was perhaps a bit of advice & info sharing.

I've been through this situation and its really sad to hear from ur post that ya friend is HIV+.As in my case my tGF of 2yrs contracted with this deadly virus.I was devastated.....now my life kinda sombre after knowing all this.
Ý Damn!this shit is fo'real..U had intercourse without proctetion?.thas very dangerous.I wouldnt expose myself without condom.As we know Prevention is better than cure.I never had sex with my TGf(even before i knew about her actual condition).I think love have ruined my sexlife and i cant hardly make a move.We usually french kiss,though i still afraid.

Have to agree with Cold. No condom means yours is high risk behaviour. That's not really a very wise thing to do -- pardon the hard phrasing, but that's the only way we can pinch ourselves into being sensible amid all the irresistible temptations that LOS offers us. The cruel reality is, once you get it you're had for good. We all have flirted with this danger when we are in that heavenly place --- but there's really no alternative to being alert all the time. Sympathies to you, bro, but in truth it also serves to heighten my own caution some more. Take care.

When I had sex with her one night I think I 'forgot' to use condom one of the 2-3 times we had sex. At that time she may have been already infected, but she don't know as she haven't been tested for years untill just recently...
I know it was reckless behaviour by me & I virtually always uses condom with BG's, but I suppose I wrongly never really though of her as a BG or at least not a 'hardcore' one at that!

Sad to hear your story, sadder too for your friend. My TGF has told me a number of stories about her former coworkers and what "disease de jour" they had. All of the ladies worked right through their infirmities, popping antibiotics, and gutting out sex the day after after nasty surgery to remove genital warts, etc. These ladies, when they contract somehting, will continue to work regardless of the rules to contrary, as it is their means of income.
In the make believe world of the nightclubs, it is always easy to suspend caution and judgement, but the damn diseases we face these days can make that perilous. So my heart goes out to your friend. This tragedy serves as a stout reminder and wake up call for us all.

So sorry to hear this. On my recent trip I ended with a new BG and after five days, I did the unthinkable, I went bareback. Never did this before. She was very clean and fresh too. Bad choice but I did it. I had her go to Bangkok General for a complete physical, STD, and HIV test and she is fine. Would I do it again? No. Why did I do it? Well, we know the answer to that one.

I really do not know what are the chances of catching HIV/aids ?? I hear so many opinions !
I know of only one case four years ago when I was chatting to a girl I know who worked in a MP in Phuket.
She told me that one of the girls who used to work there and had caught HIV had just died of it .
This is the only case I have heard about although I have heard a rumour about someone in Pattaya with HIV+ but also she does not work in the sex business any longer. She is intelligent and has not had a problem to find a 'normal' job. How long her death sentence will last one can only guess. I also know of an educated man who goes with mostly freelancers for 500baht. Sometimes he does not use a condom. He is convinced because of satistics that catching HIV is unlikely and there is innacurate press reporting?
Come in Sauron(now you now why some of us value your presence) You have an opinion that is respected in some quarters?
However ?
I do know a of people with Cancer . I have lost a father in law, a dear friend, the family pet dog-twice!(too close pedigree) People at work(too many for sure!)
Whether losing people to Cancer puts the HiV/aids situation in perspective I cannot say except Cancer seems to happen in far too many people, sadly.

As up untill recently I was a sperm donor & thus have regular mandatory STD checks incl. HIV. All came clean up untill the end & thereafter I've been tested latest at few months back at a STD clinic in UK.

Its really sad to hear such thing happening in LOS.And u 'Forgot' to use condom.Yea,..this thing might happen every now and then,There have been several times(in bangkok and hatyai)i didnt use condom coz i was sucked into the excitement of pleasure and fun.I wouldnt say 'forget' we just careless.Sometimes,its really hurtful and to be guilt.MR.Maisabai,recently my friend told me that even if u have go through all test,the virus might take some time(wouldnt know) before it take effect into ya body.Do a regurlar checkup.My heart goes to u man and ur friend.Life goes on!!!
