excerpts: Every night, at least 30 prostitutes aged between 20-40 wait for customers around Sanam Luang. They look better than the ones around Khlong Lot. They serve customers and charge them about 500 baht excluding hotel fees.
Well, reading this story had me reminiscing my fond memories of hunting in Siam Hotel Coffee Shop terrritory. Naturally, now I'm wondering if there's some gems to be found there, and if its worth a look before APEC extinguishes it (temporarily of course).
But first I have a few questions-
1) Has Griffin been there (555) and does he/would he recommend it?
2) Where is it exactly?
3) Is it newbie friendly, or are Thai (lang.) skills essential?

I think it's really funny to hear from the mouth of the reporter that they look better than the ones at Klong Lot.
Does he have shares in the Sanam Luang operations?

Skip, also you probably need a car to pick them up as they are probably not in the mood to walk to a short time hotel. Guess also most of them speak only Thai as almost every prostitute gathers to Thais (hence the low prices).
If you think you found 'paradise for a low price' I might have disappointed you ...
50-150 baht for elderly women ...... LOL!
They are even cheaper at the home for the elderly .....
BTW Are you at the RT on the 29TH?

Sanam Luang.
On Koh Rattanakosin in front of Wat Phra Sri Ratanasadaram (Wat Phra Kaew). Well across town from Sukhumvit. Good location if you are staying in Khaosan Road, with prices to suit.

Don't know where this area is, but there has been some cuties hanging around Lumpini park at around 2ish. I have had a little walk around there on several occassions on the way home, not much english, but some can speak a little and a falang wandering around there at 2am is a novelty, especially to the drive by customers.

To add on, it is right next to Thammarsat Univ. Sanum Luang is actually the name of the big open field space.
