I would say thanks for that but I'm sort of nauseous; some of that stuff was really toxic. It was a struggle to stay out of it. Gobragger, like a lot of idiots of his ilk, had some fragments of truth in his posts but they were so far from a complete and accurate veiw that I can't even be bothered to get into it with him. (No doubt he would label me as a pathetic, desperate pedophile if I did.)
There were some pretty good responses to him anyway, but I was sorry nobody took him to task on his characterization of prostitution as an "aspect of Thai modern culture"; That is so far from the truth as to be laughable. I am really tired of that cliche and the co-existant belief that the sex industry was created by/for westerners. Just the slightest perusal of THAI research blows that right out of the water.
