I had a very unsettling incident occur last night and need some SERIOUS advice....things have been great since my arrival mostly due to the great advice on this board. Last night I barfined two ladies from Mandarin (plexiglass place in NEP), beautiful girls, and we went to dinner and for drinks....I took them both for LT for $2500 each....and during dinner one of them started acting strangely, and although I asked several times what was wrong, it was always, "nothing wrong",....well, after about an hour and half of dinner and drinks headed back to JW and of course the girls went through the shower and towel routine....well, after her shower, the one girl informed me she had started her period at dinner, and I informed her that I was no longer interested in her for the night ( a reasonable f_cking conclusion)...she then demanded 2000B for the time (1 1/2 hours),,,,I told her that wasn't acceptable but would give her a 1000 due to the "bad luck" and she went f_cking berserk...started throwing hotel vases and glasses around the room and I said that's it, no baht, get the f_ck out or I will call security and have you removed....at that point she pulled a knife out of her purse and tried to cut the phone lines...when I grabbed her she made a threatening move towards me with it, then saw my money clip on the dresser and grabbed it...I grabbed her knife hand and had to physically overpower her to get my money and then literally drug her to the door and tossed her out..unf_cking believable...the other girl was in shock,,,,she had agreed that $1000B was incredibly generous considering the circumstances and the fact I had paid $600 BF each...she was as shocked as I was....well, to continue, about a half hour after the incident occurred the girl I tossed out called the other girl and told her to let her know when she had left the room and be sure to get my room number. That she knew very bad men in Thailand as was going to have me killed.......the girl that stayed was very concerned for me and told me to stay in hotel today and not leave until tonight....then go to bar manager and mamasan at mandarin around 9 tonight and tell them about good old number 46....guys, since this is my first trip I don 't know if this threat is 99% bullshit or should be taken seriously, I also don't really know what I should do....should I call police? should I call tourist police? should I advise manager of Mandarin...I mean Christ, he can't have crazy bitches pulling knives on customers because they start their f_cking period, talk about PMS...f_cking A!!! Anyway, I am not sitting around my room but am certainly casting many glances over my f_cking shoulder as I stroll the streets of BK.

Listen, it is quite possible, even likely that the girl will calm down (come off her probable amphetamine high) and come to her senses....BUT:
It is also possible that she would follow through with her threat. Your average BG will have no trouble finding some nasty folks to do something evil for a bit of money or a favor. TAKE THIS THREAT SERIOUSLY!

If you can, change hotels immediatly,
You are on holiday,you do not need this hastle,
If you go to the tourist police,they will find her and the club will remove her from their employment.
What happens after is anyones guess.
Stay away from Nana for the rest of your holiday.
This is not normal behaviour for a bar girl

i had the experience of the trashed room,but without the knife.
different reason for all the trouble though.
tourist police were called and a total waste of f_cking time.
but as MrJoe says,be careful,take the threat seriously.
you never know what might happen and when.
none of us can be sure what goes through someone's mind when they feel aggrieved.

I'd leave the hotel and the area entirely, go to Pattaya or somewhere far off for a while, better safe than sorry.
At the very least, switch rooms/hotels and avoid the NEP area.

Too bad this all happened to you when you were expecting a good time! From your post I understand that you treated these BGs very nice and you seem to be very generous. If I were you I would change the hotel and keep a low profile on this. Just be careful about this BG, she might tell her friends a lie about you and ask them to find you. I do not want to scare you, but I experienced that if a girl says that a guy treated her bad, other males try to protect her and/or hope to increase their chances with her after beating somebody up.

consider that all the post which advise you to take this threat serious, are written by responsible people who do not want to advise you to stay relaxed and then something happens.
After all what happened to you is nothing that happens everyday, so there should be something more behind this girls attitude and behaviour. A place which employs Girls like that is shit, that is the reason I would recommend you to stay away from this place. To be on the real safe side, go to Tourist police and make a formal report, keep a copy of it with you, some nasty asshole appears show it to him, he will leave, since he knows they will track him and her down. The possibility that something like that happens is close to zero. She doesnt have any money to support her evil plans.

Most BGs know any number of guys who would jump a falang for a thousand baht, a night of drinking, or sexual favors. Some might not want any money if they were convinced (by her lies) that the falang had done wrong.
It doesn't take a wealthy person to arrange things like this in LOS; far from it. This I know for an absolute fact and it easily verified in any number of reports in the news.
