This has been said to me on a number of occasions by highly educated 'worldly' men and especially women (they should know?)
However
The comments of Vancouver Jay,LivinLOS & Dr Love more nearly match my experiences.
What has also been said to me often is that sex for TG's is much akin to brushing teeth. A necesssary chore that does not have a great value unlike the 'West' where groups of people are brought up to believe in NO SEX before marriage and that LOVE = SEX etc etc.
Imagine every night going through the same routine? Being humped by a farang of various shapes and sizes who to a Thai is, to quote Falstaff from Shakespear - "The most villainous smell that ever offended nostril!"
I am sure they enjoy it sometimes. What they do enjoy is the money that is probably twenty times more than they could earn working in Robinson's. Some of them without an extended formal education have only the rice fields as an alternative. Probably addicted to the money but not the shagging and I would guess (and it is a guess) that they would love to swap that life style for a long-term boyfriend or husband who wishes to support them.
I have met some really nice ones (an occasional bad one but that's life anywhere?) who I would not have had the chance to meet in any other circumstances.
In a way they are living on the edge of life and so know it's realities?

One evening I was in the midnite bar and I bumped into a guy I met a couple of nights earlier in the beer garden and so we had a couple of drinks and we both ended up with a girl each on our laps, these 2 gilrs would alternate between dancing.

What would you feel if someone was trying to steal you wallet thats all it is. Also I have figured out what Jai dii means.
