(Since I'm still considered a newbie, I still can only create posts in this forum)
This summer I'm coming to intern w/ an American firm and living in the Ratchada area (BTW, does anybody know any cheap apartments there?)
Anyway, I'm a college student and looking for non-"working" young TGs for flings or a relationships. I speak broken but not fluent Thai. I was wondering then where are the best places to find them:
The bars and clubs in Silom Soi 4? The discos in the Ratchada area? Q-Bar and Bed Bar? Also, how easy will it be for me to pick up such girls?

speaking thai at least at an intermediate level is probably a must.
-q-bar, no.
-bed and supper, some upper class chicks (that will not be cheap and you wrote you are a student...)
-discos in ratchada yes (i have been lucky there before too)
- silom I dont know
you just have to keep your eyes open in restaurants, shopping malls, basically everywhere you go.
understanding thai culture and language is key though.

This may be harsh, but I'm not trying to put you down. And my comments are not directed at just you. It's in general, but since you asked the question!! ha ha ha!!
IMO:
I'm not sure if you are a "player" or not. But, one thing to keep in mind is that if you can't "score" in your own country/hunting grounds then you'll have the same problems "scoring" with non-working females in Thailand. And the flip side is also true.
And.... some make the mistake at thinking that in Thailand all females are open targets!! It's not like all the females in Thailand are open to screwing around or are "easy". So, if you want a "fling" then I suggest you stick to the p4p scene.
Much easier on you and at least you can leave the females that want a lt relationship to the guys who also want the same thing.
And yes, you can find available females anywhere in the world. Sine you speak some Thai, that will be to your advantage. Also being able to understand and relate to the Thai culture is also a big advantage. Okay. If you "$ roll large $" then that increase your change 10 fold!! ha ha ha!!
So, whereever you find females @ home is probably the same places you can find them in Thailand. Shopping Centers, clubs, ect.
On a side note, I think you'll have more chances of scoring on a college campus, then with the non-working females in Thailand. ha ha ha!!

Why not Q bar??...had the best sex I ever had with a Thai girl I met at QBar.....didn't cost me a penny, she ferried me round in her big car, didn't want me seen by family, even snuck me into her bed at home when they were away. she wanted good sex and boy was she good.
Twice at Q Bar in fact...so there.
It can happen anywhere, there is no hard and fast answer to these kinds of questions.

The truth is I don't like this idea of "How does one find innocent girls"...to me it's a kind of wierd and creepy question. I mean, surely you know how to meet girls and to talk to them, people go anywhere away from the Go Go areas, QBar is the fave bar of many non working girls I know, but it can also be said to be full of working girls....etc...a younger guy is probably more suited to hanging around RCA, but had better have a good command of thai and a good mechanism for detecting girls who are not being watched from afar by the BF, treading on a young male locals toes is in my view best avoided. Even pro farangs can be seen to turn farang haters when pushed.....and that is not a good mix.
This is one of the only times I've ever mentioned meeting non working girls, I don't see this as the place for them to be brought up.
