I am an ordinary poor boy from Indiana that got lucky enough to get a decent rate at the Sheraton Grande through priceline.com. Will the girls try to up the antey when they learn of where I am staying thinking I am a loaded farang? What disadvantages overall would there be for staying at a 5* property?

You should always negotiate the price before heading back to the hotel. Or you can visit one of the many massage parlors for in-call service. Darlings is right around the corner from the Sheraton on Soi 12.

When you walk to Nana from the Sheraton just before you turn the corner on Sukmivit (s) to Nana walk back about 50 feet and check out the Majestic Suites Hotel. Excellent hotel for your next trip and way cheaper. They have in room safe, clean. Have them show you a room.

TC73 since you used priceline I guess you are intrested in getting a deal. I would recommend using BigDUSA's advice when looking for TG's as he is the best deal getter around.

"walk of shame" When you walk through the Hotel Lobby, usually brightly lit with your TG in tow! Also when/if you take your TG to Breakfast in the Hotel a similar experiance can be had!
