I’ve been back now in the motherland for only a few days and already I have received a call on my home landline from a TG!
I have been burnt before like this and never volunteer my phone numbers, and always suggest I will call them (with the call identity switched off), so I can only guess she has got my details from the luggage tags, as everything else was locked away in the safe!

i don't have a problem with this.
i give them my number and address and it helps to keep in touch with the special ones.
i have 2 who ring once a month and i love to hear their voices.
and i have one girl who regularly sends me letters,cards and photos of her son growing up.
because of their continued contact,i like to think i was a good guy in some way to them and hopefully bought them a little happiness.

Hey nokna,
this is fine if you are single and in some respects I envy you. But if your actions in LOS are best kept in LOS, then the unexpected call can cause some problems, if you catch my drift.
I am just amazed at the length some of these lovely ladies will go to get your details, if my assumption is correct.

On my first through third visit, I gave girls my e-mail address, and the fatigue was through trying to keep a e-conversation going. Most the girls primarily did something like, Hope you fine, miss you much, when you come back thing, which is cool and nice for the self-esteem, though doesn't really stimulate me that much. Upon return to US, mundane matters like raisin a family and work do tend to take over. After a while I lost interest in the mails, and the last few trips don't even give my address out. I may phone while in country but that's about it. I have seperate e-mail from wifey who affords some modicum of privacy, though nowadays compete for computer time with my kid. Happy posting
