Well, my little sweetie is quickly falling into the heartbreaker category. After returning from my last LOS visit we exchanged daily emails as usual, then there was bit of a lapse in her replies (like four days or so) and I got into the predictable 'wondering what's up' mode. Then I got carried away and told her I'd like to move to Bkk and see if things might work out between us.
It's been several days since I heard from her last.... I am imagining her romping about naked with some lucky bastard who's enjoying his GFE and shelling out thousand baht notes like monopoly money. My heart is sinking like a stone and besides that, I feel so foolish for professing my undying love to a Bangkok whore that I could just about crawl under a rock and die.
Then to compound my idiocy I dial her cell number at about 3AM Bkk time in a lovesick stupor (didn't even expect her to answer) and she picks up the phone.... giggling, can't really talk, she's with a 'friend'.... God please just strike me dead with a bolt of lightning right now.... How much more moronic can I be?
I guess its better to figure out now that all her sweet little nothings were just that - nothing - than after having already wired a couple hundred thousand baht into her account, but nevertheless my post-LOS depression is now so intense I can only sleep about 3 hours a night.
Any brothers have a similar tale of woe to give me a bit of company in my misery?

have to admit that my girl I am taking care off the last 5 months, all a sudden starts to have drug parties with her "friends" and since 2 days doesn't pick up her mobile and also her phone in the appartment anymore. might be only a temporary "black out", but judging from previous experiences all this doesn't sound to good! anyway I will be back in town next week, so I can see for myself!

Sucker! Yes thats right. Hard to take? And excuse my lack of sensitivity, but its for your own good. Be angry at yourself. Thats alot of money! What the hell were you thinking. Never send money (at least anything substanial til they are up north again. ) Learn my friend most of it aint real. No DG, I said I DIDN'T wire any money into her account. All I gave her when I was there was 1000THB a night and she stayed with me 24/7, and yes, I did get anal.

Your fine, sorry misread! Go get them!...ps some working girls are good to go long time, meaning for good! just be in no hurry, and remember its easy to fall in love 7 times a month in thailand. I don't look "down on" the bargirls (well, there is the occasion when I'm standing and she's not, but I think we're talking figuratively here,,,) but I wish the love-sick Romeos amoung us would look at the situation they are in with a more realistic outlook.
Yes, the bargirls are often very attractive, articulate to the degree possible and charming hostesses. They have to be because it's part of the JOB! That's what they do and they try very hard to maximize their income. While brother or sister is working in a factory or other unskilled job for 80+ hours a week they have chosen to deal with falang in a more direct way and probably make 10 times as much for their efforts. It's certainly not an easy job to crawl into bed and act charming with an much older, overweight and often drunk falang. But it's an economic decision they have made to maximize their income. If you wanna believe they prefer you over a younger, fitter Thai man who shares their language, religion and culture well dream on. They may even marry you but if you insist on believing it is because of your wit and sexual prowess you need a reality check. 90% of the ladies have Thai boyfriends (or husbands) either in town or back in the village. 98% of the bargirls will always prefer someone who is of their own race, religion and shares their native language if all things were equal. But they are not equal. Falang walk into a bar and casually drop what would be a hard-earned months salary to them back in Isaan. If they consent to sleep with you they can make a week's wages back home in one night.
If you want to believe the crap about you being a "hansum man" do so at your own peril. The ladies aren't stupid by a long shot and they will tell you whatever they think you want to hear to maximize their longterm income and security. That doesn't make them lazy or bad in anyway, it makes them smart business people. If you insist on believing they are doing you a favor or treating you in a special way out of love or attachment, please be careful.
I just got back from my first trip this year of thirty days and I'm already planning my next one in September. If you're looking for love you have an awful lot of chaf to sort through. If I was looking for love I wouldn't be looking for it in a bar.
If you are silly enough to believe they find you sexy and attractive you will get what you deserve eventually. I know what I'm getting when I walk out of the bar with a young attractive lady half my age on my arm. I hope you understand as well.
