When a TGF is caught in a lie and has no way out and is unable to save face, what type of behavior can you expect? She continues to lie and get caught in her lies and at this point cannot save face. She will not come clean on her behavior and tries to paint me as the bad guy. At the same time she expects me to continue to sponsor her. I refuse until she comes clean. Have I paintered her into a corner and should give her up as a lost cause? Those with experience only. Thanks

Sounds to me like you are rejecting not only her, but her culture. The 'act' she is putting on is typical of a lot of Asian cultures. Forgive her or forget her. But either way I suggest you open your mind a little to the Asian style. Or just skim on the surface, have your fun and never expect to get 'too close' to anyone special.

IMO and experience:
It all depends on the female.
Some will continue to lie and when finally shown proof that she is infact lying, will get all mad and try to make an exuse that I made her lie (I'm the bad guy).
Others will come clean right away, especially if she is being sponsored.
Just don't get emotional of pissed off. Keep an even keel and hopefully she'll come clean. If not, then cut her sponsorship off and move on. If she still won't admit the truth after so much work, then can you really trust her and why sponsor??

Gotta disagree with you on this point. Saving face is an "Asian" thing, but not to the extent of constant lying. Nor making it seem like it's the other persons fault.
The person saving face could easily save more "face" by just admiitting they were wrong and then the other person letting the issue go away.
If not, then most likely, the person trying to save "face" who's caught in a lie, but won't give it up will be subjected to more ridicule and pressure. Since they are trying to do more then save "face" but actually con another person.
Hope that makes sense. Of course, this is just a generalizatoin of the whole process!!

Now I have to disagree. Saving face is not always lying. Mostly, it is just not admitting the truth. There is a difference.
It looked like to me that derman53 (where are these guys when the real discussion starts..saving face?) accused his woman of something. Sounds to me like she is not lying, just not admitting the truth.
In my personal experience, some Asians will never admitt the truth and will seek others to support their cause.
Here I am speaking of matters where there is no physical evidence. Sort of a he said/she said thing, or sometimes a farang said/Asian said encounter.
Like with a woman involved, will either of us ever be right?

I have confronted her with the emails and she contends that someone else wrote them. A 2nd person who talked to her independendly of the notes said the same thing as in the notes (not a person capable of sending notes with her email). She still will not come clean. She says she is sorry but will not admit to doing anything wrong.

Or are you concerned about what the emails mean ie. that you have been cheated on?
Seems to me that you are arguing with her about the wrong subject.
Either way now you can't trust her so dump her!
Unless she is a fantastic lay, and you love her to death, then shut up about it and carry on, and hope you have scared her enough not to do whatever she did, again.
Suck it up or f_ck her over. But do something.Don't waste your energy fightng about it.
