What do I tell my new TGF when she questions why I have another Thai girl's name (in Thai script) tattoed on my arm ?
Sometimes, I wonder why a forty year old behaves like a fourteen year old.
Still,if anyone can come up with some suggestions (especially humorous ones!) it will be much appreciated!

Tell her its the name of a little girl inCambodia that is orphaned and you have enteretd a sponsorship program for her through 'AdoptAChild'. You can even steal phots of some kid somewhere and show her. Tell her you did it drunk one night when you had so many tearfull thoughts about her and how she looked so much like the child you lost when you were 25yo.
Added advantage is that the gf will probably think, wow, what a sweet, caring and wonderfull human being you are.

Tell her with a stone face that you're in Thailand on a special mission, that the tattoo is a very special identification mark, and that you can't tell her any more than that - and drop the subject. She probably won't buy it, until you...
Occasionally drop off manila envelopes in covered garbage cans when you're walking with her. Ask her to stand in front of you to block the view before you do, and look around quickly while you do.
Whenever a buddy, one that she has never met, meets you two for a drink, have him look you over without saying anything when he walks up, point to a similar place on his arm signaling you to show yours (I'm sure that any BTF buddy would be glad to oblige), show the tattoo quickly to him while looking around to check that no one else is looking - except her of course - and settle down to normal friendly drinking and talking. Sometime during the conversation, lean over to him in a hushed voice, loud enough for her to hear though, and drop stuff like "CIA...MI6...southern uprising...terrorism......Xxx (the name on the tattoo) wants you to have 2,000 troops ready...... etc., etc."
F*ck with her head a little. Much more fun than having the sucker scraped off.
She'll think you're so cool.

bandage it up, buy some sugar pills and tell her they are aniflamatory and intibiotics etc. Call her from the hospital tell her you will be late one evening as you had an accident.
Then tell her someone spilled boiling water on you, you had a skin graft and leave it at that. In a few weeks, take off the bandages and act in shock, put on some red makeup before you take it off and exclaim, "WTF, where did they get that skin from, some hooker from Nana or what"
