OK, this has happened to me on more than 1 occasion, it goes something like this... Tyler meets girl, Tyler likes girl, Girl likes Tyler and everything is fine and dandy Tyler gives girl the "Tyler Treatment" and she likes it and wants to meet for more. Tyler thinks to himself "why not?".

After a few of these sessions, Girl gets a little possessive and/or aggressive (Girl starts calling, SMS, showing up at hotel, stalking, etc) and Tyler has to give the wave-off. It never seems to go well, and at some point, Tyler ends up saying "You're Crazy!!!" (as in, "you're a freak") and that's when they blow up!

Do these words have a stronger effect in the Thai language than it does in the English language? Is it a huge insult to a TG? Maybe it is being said too lightly (by me) and being received too harshly (by them).

Thoughts???

As I mentioned on another thread, got a bite mark scar on my arm from a girl in a similar situation. Never called her after the first time but just happened to meet her again about 2 months later on Soi 7. After that she wouldn't go away. Called every day and wouldn't take no for an answer.

Bumped into her again about 3 months later and she flipped as was with another girl. Hit me with a bar stool then bit me!!!

Strange thing is she still calls and saw her 2 weeks ago and she acted like nothing had happened. Said I was going to the toilet and buggered off when at Nana disco.

Really is a loose one.

I'm not (by any stretch of the imagination) an expert in Thai but it might have been bettter if you had described her as, "Ting Tong" rather than "Crazy".

Cheers

I second Brocher and Buxeda.

It is the same with 'banyar orn' which means 'retard', when you want to use it like a 'joke', you should rather use 'banyar nim'...

BTW my TGF in Germany does not think it it funny when I call her
'bar'... that is strong...

Party on.

Are you saying it in Thai or English? If in Thai, are you using "baa", or "ting tong" or "lok chit"?

Keep fighting the good fight.

See my earlier comment about my language skills! I reckon:

1. Bah = Crazy
2. Ting Tong = daft

So if said either in Thai or English 2 would be preferable in Tyler's circumstances, n'est pas?

Cheers

LocalYokul

if you want the result that she leaves you alone then Bah is as good as any

if you just want her to stop acting insane, but stick around, well maybe you could tell her she is Bunya Ohn or Bunya Nim, basically means "weak mentality", but even still she might take adversely to that :=|

dTing dTong is just silly BG lingo for ding dong (loony)

SoraPong, where are you ??

surely you'll be here to correct me in milliseconds
