So last trip I met a TG and stayed with her for a few nights. Difference was she was not a bar girl, she was the girl from the watch shop, which is pretty ironic if you search the shopping forum on how to buy a hooky Rolex and my posting (I did not learn anything new!).
She stayed with me for 4 nights, and I only got a bunk up on the last night. With Thai working hours, it suited me fine as I could work my way thorugh the various BJ and soapy joints in Pattaya while she was at work, and I got free company and a shag after 10pm. Of course I paid for meals, but she chipped in with the Bahtbus and some drinks wich I read as pretty positive.
Now the question. Do Thai's have a different idea about kissing?
I found that she like a quick peck, but the full on tonsil hockey was just not on the cards, even during sex. I originally read this as not being interesting in anything more, but as she was as assertive as anything on our final night, then I am now not sure.
Somewhere I am sure I have read that Thais hae a more 'snuffeling' style of kissing, and it is only the ones who have been exposted to lots of western guys (like bar girls) who are more into our western ways.
She is apparently very keen on me, with phone calls (and I have not called her once!) and many SMS messages, and it looks like I can get back next month.
Any comments or input on Thai kissing style or do I need to start garlging more often?

That's my understanding. One bar girl nearly drove me crazy with that sniff kiss stuff. Wanted to know all about the cologne I was wearing. Don't often see thais expressing emotions in public, except the young ones that get it on in back of the bus.

I would recommend trying out Lolita's if you want to find a girl that is starved for a kiss.
Actually, I have never had a problem with finding a girl that will kiss Western style, but then again, I have only met BG and Gogo girls. I guess that is what you get for hanging out with guys from BKKTONITE.

I found they completely vary. Took a girl from the money exchange on sukhimvit once. She was a complete babe and just made small talk with her for a few minutes. She asked where I was going later and I jokingly asked her if she wanted to come. Asked for my number and good to her word rang me later. She was a real tonguer, had to come up for air a few times.
Sadly she had my Thai mobile number which doesn't work here.
As you say, some sniff and some bite your lip????

The TG that I have been with does that sniff kiss, I thought it was just her, she also just pecks in public but in the room a different kettle of fish, on the other hand she did ask me why I wasn't as affectionate when she picked me up from the airport and I told her that I thought TG's didn't like kissing in public, what do you do.

Obviously I've been lucky 'cause all the girls (BGs or not) that I can remember (onset of outsiders!) have all liked to snog.

Definitely the majority of Thai ladies do not like to kiss "full on tonsil hockey" as you put it.
YOu can find lots in the bar who will kiss, but others are just not interested.
Likely rooted in the Thai cultural taboos akin to not touching in public.
As I say many in the bars will not have a problem with this. However I have had a few Thai GFs over the years and they are not that interested, and definitely reserve the kiss for special occasions.
