I have seen a lot of post criticizing some board members for spending too much on TGs or Hotels.
First what is smart? These are my definitions.
Raw Intelligence – IQ, reasoning ability, problems solving, etc.
Knowledge – Ability to intelligently converse on a broad range of subject matter, depth of knowledge in specialized areas of expertise.
Wisdom (AKA Common sense) – The ability to apply intelligence and knowledge to handle day to day situations.
What is Frugal?
Practicing or marked by economy, as in the expenditure of money or the use of material resources.
Can being Frugal not be smart?
Is paying a TG 4000+ LT, smart or not? I say it can be, if it accomplishes your desired ends. These are my reasons for paying well and staying in “nice” places.
1. Mark you as generous and a good provider.
2. To make other lower paying customers less attractive, and set you up for special treatment.
3. If you can do this with little or no impact on your finances why not enjoy it.
If person A has an income of $250K, is single, has no car payment, little or no mortgage, and no credit card debt. After Taxes he has $150,000 of disposable income and he takes 10% of this as travel/fun money, you could almost say he is being Frugal even if he pays 4K+ long time instead of 1K/500.
If person B has an income of $50K, is married with children, has two car payments, a mortgage, and credit card debt. He may only have a few thousand dollars disposable income and may be spending 100% on P4P, for him even spend this little bit 1K/500 at a time may not be Smart or Frugal!
So if you can afford it and it gets you what you want, paying TGs generously is both Smart and Frugal.
Does this hurt the less well off Punters by pricing the most desirable TGs out of there range, yes but this is a benefit to the more well off as it makes there prey available to a smaller audience… THEM.

I say if a person earns a lot of money, don't pay the tg's more money for their services as they will expect more from everyone, if they want to spend more money on the TG's let them buy them gifts, or take them out to nice resturants, it achieves the same goal without upping the anti.
If a person is well off financially, then there are escort agancies that cost more then a BG, also other establishments (or places) which also cost more like soi 33.
They do not need to spend any more on BG's then need be, keep the prices down for the average punters and the cheap charlies.

Whereas it might be smart to take out the 'cheap charlies' from competing against you, it's not at all smart to pay more for something than you have to. I presume you wouldn't pay more for your next Mercedes than you needed to? But we aren't talking about purchasing a car where paying more might get you a better model. We are talking about buying time with a human being in return for sexual favours. As such, other factors come into the equation which might well affect the performance of the girl and would only be influenced by the money aspect to a certain extent.
For example, if a wealthy punter were not only fat, bald and as ugly as sin, but also had bad personal hygiene and halitosis, then the girl might well prefer to give better treatment to a 'hansum' man that paid her half of what the wealthy guy paid. It might also depend on how the guy treated her too. She might very well prefer to be with a guy that treated her with respect and paid proper attention to being considerate to her, even though he paid less.
I'm with Big Beefa on this one. If you're a bit flash with the cash, why not buy her a little something with the surplus money burning a hole in your pocket, instead of inflating the price that the girls might expect others to pay.
In any event, you'll only improve the chances for yourself where you are at any one given time. The Japanese typically pay the sort of sums that you mention, but there are thankfully far more girls available than there are guys prepared to overspend on them, so it isn't going to be a problem for most of us. As a businessman you should also be aware that if prices for P4P were to be inflated by too much, then lot's of guys might indeed be taken out of the equation and go elsewhere. The long term effect of this though, would be to reduce the supply of clients and therefore the number of girls, which would reduce the choice available to you. So you'd have shot yourself in the foot, wouldn't you?

I drive a Wrangler Sport and a Audi RS-6, not a Mercedes. Anyways the well off Fat/Bald/Ugly guy may well get the club "10" if the other Fat/Bald/Ugly guys are being frugal. Anyway as I see it the two main reasons for P4P are the ability to get a better caliber of girl then you would for free, or to skip on the effort that "real" GF takes. I am talking about paying extra for that top 5-10% of TGs that are 8s-10s and give a very good GFE. Why blame the Well-off for using what they got, should the younger good looking guys give up there advantages also?
Also if you want one of the 800 Audi RS-6s in north america, you may end up paying more then list! Same thing with that one 10 TG in the bar of 30 girls, you want her... you may have to pay.

Agreed with you completely. HJ does not really understand the way free market works. The guys who pay more for the 8-10's are not taking the 1-7 girls out of the market. If the money gets good, more 8-10 will come out of woodworks to compete for the $$. It will only increase the supply of the 8-10 girls and will have no impact on the 1-7 girls because the guys who's paying this kind of $$ are not interested in them in the first place. Give you an exemple : why are all the brightest geeks come to Silicone Valley ? Because...........Why are all the pretty girls in BKK working at places like the Orbit, Carribean, Piano?

Yet another Japanese basher !! who knows why they pay "more" for their girls ? Maybe she can speak a little Japanese ? The club is catering only to Japanese and serves Japanese food and drinks ?.....he feels uncomfortable at NEP because there are too many hairy "farangs" competing for dark-skinned Issan girls that he does not think attractive at all ?.......so let's not assume they ( the Japanese) are looking for the same things we are looking for in BKK.......
