Just another example that sponsoring doesn't get you exclusive rights to a girl...
I met this girl in Nana about two years ago. She was working outside one of the gogo bars trying to get people in. I liked her and it felt like we clicked. I bought her a few drinks but I didn't take her because I was meeting my GF a bit later. I saw her another few times after that but never took her with me because of my GF being close by.
Finally I had the chance a year ago and we spent a few days together and had a blast. Not only did we get along fine socially but also sexually. Since then we've been together 4 times or so for a few days each time. I've paid her every time approx B1000 to B1500 a day and she seemed fine with that.
A few weeks ago on my last visit to BKK again we got together and after the usual mindblowing sex we talked for a while and she told me about her new boyfriend. The guy is from the UK and in his late twenties I think. They met earlier this year and he's been back to see her several times. She told me he sponsors her with B40.000 or more (up to B100.000) a month and that they are going to get married at the end of this month. After that she is then supposed to go to the UK (London I think) and live there with him but she doesn't really look forward to that. I asked her how she felt about him and she says she really likes him because he loves her so much and will do anything for her (and gives her sh_tloads of money) but she doesn't love him. She did stop working in the bars for as far as I know.
So.... anybody reading this who's planning to marry a bargirl from BKK at the end of this month...

Seems it happens a lot to the Poms and the Yanks.
I have met many girls doing this same deal, the most recent one was a Pom guy and the girl from a bar. He is returning next month to take her outs the bar and pay her 50k I think a month, 50 or 40, cannot remember now. Anyway, she has agreed to go back to the village, but she will be back in Bkk soon after he goes I bet. The kicker is that she has a thai boyfriend back in the village who will be on a wonderfull wicket, lol, she even lives with him back in da village.

You're absolutely right. By writing "another" I tried to imply that this isn't a single occurence... but it happens all the time...
There are still a lot of guys out there who fall for it... just look at all the threads about it...

Was talking to a guy in Beergarden Soi 7 last week, chap from Brisbane who had just found out his sponsored GF was married.
Can't say I know all sponsored BGs and their dealings etc to make such a rash comment as above but take it it was tongue in cheek.
Am not English before you ask.

Most people that live in Brisbane are Poms that have moved over for the warmer weather anyway, so plobably was a Pom just living in Oz.
