CS, all "farang" areas are safe and quiet. As a consequence of the state of emergency, I believe that all gogos/bars will close at 9pm (to be confirmed).
However I am not really optimistic for the coming days...

To confirm BB's coment - all is quite on the Farang fronts. Maybe things will be closed/ close early tonight, maybe even tomorrow night. But I doubt it will run all the way into the weekend.
The Thai's don't know how to have a proper revolution.
