guys,
anyone actually witnessed the major film shooting end of last week - saturday 8pm'ish or so?
I was walking towards cowboy from suk 23 & was met with a massive thai model/actresses crowd & boy was that something else than tilac bar more like poseideon model lounge right in your face!
Asking the BG's afterwards noone seemed to know what was going on, but at least now I know

I wandered in the 23 end of cowboy similar time to you, ordered a sandwich at old dutch and took it all in while they made it. The show girls were spectacular as you say and I have no idea what role they were playing, poor old Hugh looked like a middle aged punter like many of us (obviously a great actor) without the gut... the girls were much more impressive. Food arrived I headed in doors for a beer and other activities.... First thing said to me as I entered my bar of choice... did you see Hugh Grant.

Hugh Grant is famous/infamous. His acting skills are doubtful, but that is fairly typical these days.
I thought he was quite good in Four Weddings and a Funeral. How they can expect such a lightweight to be James Bond I'll never know.
On the subject of James Bond, if you ever get the chance read the books, yes all of them. Most are quite different from the films with the exception of 'From Russia with Love'.As with most books I found them a lot better than the films. To quote Ian Fleming," James Bond is a load of nonsense, if you want a real spy look at Sydney Reilly!"

With colleages and others we have sometimes amused ourselves by guessing who will play the future james bonds after pierce brosnan.
He needs hellish charm, a good body, look good in tuxido. I havent decided my guess on the next one yet, but the one after that will be IMHO (laugh if you like)
Robby Williams.
Surprised? PEesonnally I don't think he has taken out his full potential yet and he has the right personality allthough I do not listen much to his music.

l'm not laughing at you Lift Off.
Coming from the same city as Robbie I was in the local Kwik-Save last time I was home, and a friend of Robbie's Mum's dustbin man was saying exactly the same thing.
If I was a betting man (& I am) I would have a small wager on him. Providing that he can act (although when has that ever stopped anyone) I think my money is pretty safe.
I quite like the man & his music..it's just a shame he supports (allegedly) the wrong team in the city.
