For those that are interested.
I had reason to pass by the US Embassy again today (lightning doesn't stri.....etc!) and there's nothing to let folk know that a bird crapped on the place let alone what happened yesterday!
It just looks squeeky clean. No debris, no scorch marks and the outside of the place looks "normal". Normal being when you've got a reinforced steel barrier all the way round the place, tanks, razor wire, electric barriers, loadsa soldiers outside and manned observation towers with the odd chap in the street talking to his shirt cuff!

yes rtb - you had the witty comment. But then assistant trainee moderator #57 - doctor dope told you that this topic is unacceptable on bkk tonight forum. So I guess you 2 will need to settle the issue between yourselves.
Several other members disagreed with doctor dope - & opined that news is news. Again a matter of opinion.
Brack - for all their firepower & tanks they couldn't stop a few committed rag head terrorists could they? What's next? tactical nukes?

It doesn't matter what my or other people's opinion is. The board rules dictate that only posts related to Thailand are acceptable.
I just try to keep the board clean. I think a task for all of us. Not just for 'wannabe moderators'.
BTW Who was it who said that a certain thread didn't belong in the 'tech' section but in the 'shopping' section.

The point being - for all the heavy security - Saudi Al-Queida mounted an attack that killed 8 Americans. So much for the world's last remaining superpower huh?
