Cut him some slack, doc - it's not shameless self-promotion. His posts simply announced the addition of internet access and Wi-Fi -- two things that I find both interesting and informative.
As long he doesn't start advertising every single 'happy hour special' (which I don't see him doing anyway), I think this kind of posting is fair enough.

Hey, Daffy, read one of my earlier posts very carefully.
Ladyboy pics, House Parties, Free Buffets are also interesting to some members. But they simply do not have a place on BTF.
Now that YOU like linternet and WiFi in particular doesn't mean it serves a better purpose.....
It is self promotion...... bar to none.

I don't want to argue because you are a very smart guy, and so right in all your arguments.
But sometimes the self-proclaimed police is even more annoying than any ad can ever be. We all are used to the flodding ads and can get over it in an instant, but too much of that police attitude can give a place (forum) a bad karma...
No offence meant - just take it easy, first one's on me

Personally, I find the docs CONSTANT nitpicking more annoying that happy guys posts. I think its time the doctor goes himself to a doctor, because my professional opinion is that he suffers from an annoying combination of boredom and obsessive-compulsive disorder. And frustration caused by impotence, but that last one I consider a blessing in his case.

Also, that part about impotence... don't quite know what to do with that... but I guarantee you I can still slap your head with it and cause you more brain damage.
BTW Why do we Dutch consider Belgians as 'dumb people' and not the other way around....?

Were I wanting to attract crowds of people to my bars, it would not be by announcing the advent of wifi in the building! I'm sure that this will prove attractive to the occasional businessman/woman, but for most punters/potential punters it is not of the slightest interest
