Is this for sure? Are all mongering establishments shut down as well for those 3 days? Is is just night time clubs or will beer bars and MPs be open business as usual? Sorry if its already been addressed but I plan on being in BKK during this time. Maybe its worth waiting until after the mourning.

A bar owner has just told me all bars will be closed on November 14-16 for the funeral. There will be a total ban on the sale and consumption of alcohol for that weekend.

as per todays bangkok post.
so my take to that is: "bars will be open and liquor will be sold. however no dancing, no loud music, or no music at all. no scantily clad single moms on poles" my guess is,: "that they will still sit around, but dressed in their street garb"
however... one will see on the first night in question.
