Seems apollo has no idea what's going on - first claiming that many got killed, then pointing out how ONE person got killed. Lastly, pointing out how the army shoots into crowds, but neglecting to mention that the army was issued blanks.

Don't have to look far for propaganda, there.

As patinbangkok pointed out, even the local residents in Bangkok are turning against the Red Shirts, which have now lost all credibility -- it's quite obvious that this is Thaksin's Swan Song, and that it will end badly for him.

First the Gov and Army claimed they only shot in the air... then when pictures showing the army shooting straight at the Red Shirts and not in the air have surfaced, they claimed it was blanks... nonsense. With blanks you do not need to aim so precisely, it makes the noise regardless as nothing is being shot out... no bullet. Yes there is propaganda, it comes from the current Thai Gov. which lost any credability.

As for this movie, it states this is one dead but it DOES NOT show in Thailand which, by the media, claims no one died from Army shooting at Red Shirts. Hence the significance. By all mean, it is not the only one, it is the one admited by the Gov but one you cannot find it mentioned inside of Thailand (they claim no dead, blanks where issued to Army etc....).

Hope above helps you understand better Daffy.

Believe in what you want, what you are fed or what your mind and logic shows you as reason.

Not over by any means, Thaksin will be back...

"Military 'won't interfere' at Govt House
Published: 14/04/2009 at 10:06 AM
Military authorities on Monday ruled out an assault on protesters at Government House.

In a special announcement by a military spokesman broadcast on all TV and radio stations at 10am, a spokesman said the army would continue operations in downtown Bangkok.

"But our aim is only to clear the streets so that normal traffic can move," he said.

He said the protest of red shirts at Government House is legal and would not be harmed.

Scattered and violent resistance to the military attempt to secure Bangkok continued on Monday night. Authorities said one soldier was shot in an ambush near the Mahboonkrong centre near the main tourist shopping area.

The continued clashes raised speculation on Monday night that soldiers would assault and try to clear the Government House protests, where thousands of anti-government demonstrators continued their campout for an 18th day."

Oh so now they wont go to the Gov House.. For sure they need to extend Songkran for the entire year... LOL

MBK shooting? One soldier shot.. humm and how many red shirt were shot in retaliation?
