IMO this creep will walk away from all this still wearing his smug smile. I doubt that he had anything to do with the little girl's death...
He is playing the system for the fool that it is and winning, except for the memory of the girl's death it would be funny. Enjoy.

It certainly restores my faith in the US legal system's investigation and prosecution process - it is as guillible, amateurish and prone to outside manipulation as ever.
Will this "free man" be on Oprah promoting his book before or after he sues for false arrest or returns to English teaching in another country? Enjoy.

I mean that flight back alone had to be a few thousand bucks on taxpayers.
Seriously, his lawyers are already making noise about how he was "dragged back from Thailand" without any real evidence against him. All joking aside he may have grounds to sue over the way he has been paraded in front of the world's media as a child killer - yes that was 90% his fault given his confession to the crime - but 10% of the 100 million law suit will still put 10 million in his and his lawyers pockets - as I said - he is playing the system and is winning. Enjoy.

Having worked in the media for 18+ years I have never seen a spectacle like the Thai circus when Karr was paraded in front of the cameras and all the Thai officials were smiling like they had caught a big fish. That was quite sad actually. I agree with ATL that he should face some charges for making up the story but likely will not. I don't think he is clear of the California charges either. I believe he was extradited for the seriousness of the crime in Colorado, not because the kiddie porn charges have been dropped. Look for him to return to California soon. He is fascinated with child crimes and whether we like it or not he certainly became a celebrity.

Court TV is a great source as to the evidence, but the over- sensationalised TV coverage is Manic Paparazzi. $$$$$ Advertisers need to make their Bucks, so reporters will say anything.
Fox, CNN, ABC, CBS, etc etc can all go blow ! Presently the media thinks its the justice system. The world is too damm much CELEBRITY CULTURE orientated.
Karr will probably make big assed $$$ writting a book.
Court TV aired last week again, an older Cold Case show about a Boulder CO break ins and stalking of younger girls at the same timeframe as the JonBenet case. The breakins and stalkings ended when a suspect committed suicide. No Witnesses or evidence was found as to his DNA profiling. He dressed in Ninja outfits and wore gloves. CoWorkers at a local CO wrecking yard said the guy was psycho.
Boulder DAs at the time profiled the heck out of the Ramseys and didnt care about other leads; Blinders on. That case was screwed all the way as to forensics. Although they have over 400 peices of evidence taken from the home. DNA isnt the best; only half intact good they said.
Frickin Paparazzi anyhow! Just like the Aruba missing teen girl Natalee Coleman on Spring Break that disappeared.
News coverage sells ads, in turn we folks consume the Hell out of it !!
Yep alot of Tax Payers bread went into that Hoax BS.
Karr may do a few years then go probation with a Bann ! forever from teaching and thank god Thailand !
Imagine getting 86ed from Thailand forever?.....that would suck ratholes!

Sigh...where his lawyers will successfully argue for the charges to be dismissed based on the fact that a "fair" trial is now impossible due to the media frenzy that surrounds the defendant.

If they were able to find a fair jury for OJ Simpson in CA, then finding one for this guy is no problem.
The charges in Colorado were dropped. He is awaiting extradiction to California on the child pornography charges there (unless he waives extradiction, which does not seem to be the case).
