Yep !...3 bros stuck in Bangkok..... told em to go back to Pattaya and enjoy their extended vacation......just call in work PA... hardship cases now stuck in the Hotel California.
Aint that bad in comparison to Mumbai.....frickin terrorist killin the innocents over holidays....pure evil sick bastards! ones that are left, I hope slow torture crucify em!

The inside people I listened to was convinced that Mr T would make a grand comeback soon enough! Imagine that! Even more interesting since my informer told me this complete scenario already in the beginning of this year. And all has so far happend as he predicted... unfortunately.

I "appreciate" both sides of the argument. However, do these protesters realize how close they are to setting Thailand back 30 years? I myself have begun to look for secondary manufacturing facilities in China. I know people have 'short memories', but do you think tourists will flock back to Thailand? Lucky for them that the Mumbai fiasco took this off the front page. However, if this continues for more than week, I am afraid Thailand is finished in the short term, and will take years to come back...

My wife is an upper-mid-class Bangkok Chinese Thai. Family are bigtime Democrat Party supporters, and despise Taksin. But even she is now saying that PAD is setting the country back many years. She's angry and wishes they would knock it off. Of course, she also wants the PM to quit.

I heard that too from several upper or upper-mid class thais and who were pro democrats. They know they and their business are going to be hurt financially, whereas Mama Bear and co don't really care about that...
I have heard, from those same people, the name of the country Nepal mentioned, to illustrate how quickly the symbolic link between bears and people can be broken. Interesting development.

Just spoken to my mrs up in Kamphaeng Phet and she tells me, the locals are getting a bit jacked of with all this shit, her staff are talking about getting a bus to confront the Idiots at the airport.
Feck I hope its all over soon, as she has been back only 10 days, then Back to Aus before xmas. TIT 
She is now asking " how do I get back to Aus ? in case this shit is still going on at the end of the month ? "
Said don't worry, I have Idea`s for her to get out, told her not to worry and enjoy her time back at her place 
Beretta.......Having a nice Xmas in Aus for a change after having it in Los for the last 7 years, to bad I enjoyed having it with the mrs in Phuket.
I just hope that these people realise what damage they are doing to Thailand and its economy !

Looking at Thai history... the killing of students in 1976 etc... seems that this one will end only by major changes in Thailand, as Thaksin and his many thai people supporters wont go down easy. Bad thinking by Mama and Papa bear... this is their end... indeed see Nepal....

Exactly. They are biting the hand that feeds... the majority are too stupid to think about that. Hardcore sex tourists (!) are now looking at other destinations, and as for the casual tourists - forget it. Sad days for business, investors in LOS.
