Yep, by the time a month has passed, it will be just business as usual, with a nice taxi queue and congested traffic. Can't wait how long for chatuchak style stalls to start crowding the airport.

OK, so I just reviewed what I think are all the new airport related threads, and it looks as though I'm the first BKK bro to announce flying into the new airport.
So heres the skinny. I spoke to the airline today, (EVA) and learned I'll definately be landing at the new airport on Sept. 29th, at 11:00AM. I'm assuming I'll fly out of there as well, but we'll see won't we.
At first I was very excited, brandy new airplane, (Boeing 777), and a brandy new airport. So we'll see, I'll post when it's all said and done. Now, a couple of questions.
1) Will it be as easy as in Bangkok to get a cab?
2) When I get said cab, how much to get to Pattaya?
3) How long to get to Pattaya?
4) How much is the airport tax on the way out?
Ok, so all info, appreciated, and I'll make a post when I get ot Pattaya.

Okay, so we know about the taxis, but where is the A-1 to A-4 bus stop? Which BTS station is the closest one to the airport? LOL! Cheap Charlie here, if depature fee is 700 baht!! Yikes, that's almost 1000 baht!!

They just say that they scrapping the TAXI terminal idea you can not take a taxi from the airport. Great they just wasted another billion on a TAXI terminal and now no one going to use it. I am sure the people bought lease there must be 100 % exited about that.
