Not sure what everyone is reacting to here. Is it a fear of SARS or the concept that supply/demand factors could herhaps drive down prices?
If it's the later, I sense a bit of hypocracy bros. Nobody in particular, but in general. If you read throughout the board, there are countless threads discussing the seasonal impact on what the girls are asking and going for, techniques for getting better prices and even freebies, the impact of ATM's on girls prices, countless flames for those guys who pay 3,000, 4,000, 5,000 or more for ST or LT's, and countless flames/praises for those guys who proudly got freebies or 500baht LT's. So many of the threads focus closely on the current 'market rate' for various services.
The reality right now is that SARS has got everyone spooked. It's also a reality that if you list up the top 10..... shit, probably 100 deadly contageous diseases in the world, SARS would not even make the list. Your thousands of times more likely to die in a car accident on the way to the airport, slip and die in your bath tub, etc. etc. than you are of every catching, let alone dying of SARS. Sure, there are some localized areas where it's an issue and steps to avoid it becoming global are warranted and have their localized impact.
Fear, unfortuantley, is not rational. Just like people freak out every time a terrorist bomb goes off and start cancelling travel plans, so they are with SARS. People are losing jobs, and economies are being devastated.
Pointing out how SARS, which is hurting a lot of people financially(myself included) and killing some people, can have the side benefit of decreasing the number of punters in LOS and therefore increasing the number of available girls and reducing prices..... while true..... is probably not very PC and is not going to be well received. But to flame the guy is being a bit hypocritical......
And that's all I have to say about that.....

This topic has nothing to do with the cost of goods or services or the fluctuations in prices. It is about a guy rejoicing in the fact that the outbreak of a new disease means that he can hopefully pay even less money to have sex. Have another look at the title of the topic if you don't believe me.
It appalls me how men who could not get a free f_ck in their own country can happily travel to LOS and then complain about having to pay as little as $10 for sex. They also have the temerity to criticise the fact that farangs have to also pay a surcharge at some places, even though this surcharge is still a very cheap cost to them.
The Thais are clever enough to know that even by imposing the surcharge they will still attract farangs who will gladly spend their money because it still represents "good value". The sad old farangs know that they could never get the same thing back home and so they pay. Then they have the audacity to complain about it later. Unbelievable.

Why should there be a problem? Obviouly the guy didn't cause SARS, or the silly panic about it in the West.
Rejoicing in the misfortunes of others is unattractive. If you boast about turning those misfortunes to your advantage, you can expect other people to tell you so.

Gee. 2000 = 48 BUCKS.

seafood prices depend on the catch and demand /no different.....1000..1500 2000 ...3000 all depends on type of fish(quality) and demand......i personally will head for cm2 nightclub and maybe get a deal on 2 guys together pay 5000 instead of 7000 for hot arses.
