The only thing that I see as stereotypical here is the way that pedophiles seek to justify their actions.
The tired old argument that being of legal age to consent to sex privately is the same as having the life experience and mental and emotional stability to engage in it commercially.
That logic would also see us with 16 year old driving instructors, 16 year old marriage celebrants, 16 year old financial planners etc etc. It's not the task itself but the dealings that surround it that require the maturity.
And I'll repeat...17 of the males involved were UNDER 15 years of age. Some here may not have a problem with that but I do.

I don't think any of us would have a problem with someone paying a 16 year old for financial advice.
My son had his own share portfolio at 12,, he has done quite well, in 6 years he has more than trebled his assets.But I would have a problem if some pedaphile wanted to f*** him.

We probably all have been approached at some time by gals that were underage or looked underage. I remember a woman trying to sell me her daughter on Beach Road middle of the day. Poor girl was very young and painfully shy (no I did not) but when your perants are willing to do that what hope do you have?
My point is that anywhere in the world there are limits, (LY even on this board I agree with JR bad taste mate), personally I just dont go anywhere near any gal that looks too young and I dont have a lot of sympathy for anyone caught doing a underage gal/boy/dog/whatever?

My main gripe is that these sorts of stories give Pattaya a bad name for all the wrong reasons when it has worked hard for years to have a bad name for all the right reasons. It truly is an adult's Disneyland and I want to see it's name out of the headlines and back in the gutter where it belongs! Enjoy.

I don't care what the law says here or where you are or in LOS. 16 is too young and those who take advantage are predators at the least. Don't care if you like it or not. At some point you have to take responsbility for the decisions you make, not the decisions of kids just because they have already made bad decisions. Step up.

Pedophiles,, or as LY prefers Paedophiles deserve the full contempt of society. Here in Aus they are nick named " Rock-spiders" and are hunted down in the gaols ( jails) and rarely live more than a few months.Even convicted murderers etc see them as the filth of the Earth and treat them as such.
Sorry LY,, for not seeing humour in this.
I agree that this site should be light and easy,, just an exchange of ideas and fun we have found in LOS,, but subjects such as this do not lend themselves to light and happy interactions.
Maybe it would be a good idea if we keep subjects to ADULT fun
