I got an email from a buddy that teaches at Assumption (by the way, he is a "true" teacher) and apperently this dude came in for an interview last April.
The head of the English program, an aussie, pegged the guy as "very strange" right off the bat.
My friend, who met him, while he was awaiting his interview said that something was not right with the guy.
That being said, something is strange about this whole case.

Well, I'm glad (for the family) that finally this criminal/maniac has been caught.....
I had recently a chat with a Danish lawyer working here in Thailand, monitoring and chasing Western bad guys.....it's kind of scary to see how Thailand is one of the fav destination for them.....
And I also hope that schools in Thailand will stop hiring any bloody farang coming from an English speaking Country to teach English......when comes to education of kids, I would like to see people little bit more concered about the right person than the right pronunciation.....!

"One of Karr's former wives, Lara Karr, told KGO-TV in California that her ex-husband spent a lot of time studying the cases of Ramsey and Polly Klaas, who was abducted from her Petaluma, California, home and slain in 1993.
Lara Karr said she was with her former husband in Alabama at the time of JonBenet's killing and she does not believe he was involved in the homicide."
As I posted earlier in this thread, I am very suspicious about this and I would be willing to bet money that he is not guilty of killing JonBenet Ramsey. But he is clearly a psychopath.

is it possible he wants to evade thai prison (bang kwan) for whatever they busted him for in LOS...and get back to the states to be found simply "crazy" but not guilty???????
Just a thought...but if they produce evidence that he was in the southern states at Christmas 1996...they wont even have to bother with DNA.
as aforementioned...he may not be not guilty but its obvious he is a pychopath that shouldnt be teaching.
appparently he had "acting" as a big intrest of his on his CV.

great point about the schools allowing anyone...from what my mates that teach there tell me all they need is a warm, native english speaking, body to plop in a room and charge the parents higher tuition. Its sad that this and other incidents give those that are "real/true" teachers a bad name.
