what amazed me was his demenour as the bib escorted him around to the press...he had the shirt over his head but seemed toward the end to me to have realized his fate..and he doesnt have mike jakson money and johnny cochran is dead and he is not getting off 
I guess not being a pedophile makes me unqualified to say but his life is f***ed now and I cant understand why a few years of f***ing little boys and posting the vids would be worth the last 40 to 50 years eating bugs and sitting in a hole of your own piss & feces..

Transvestite key in capture of Christopher Neil

A Thai transvestite named Oum was the key man whom police traced to eventually locate and arrest the much-publicised Canadian paedophile Christopher Neil in Nakhon Ratchasima on Friday.
Oum, a 20-year-old transvestite in Pattaya, was a two-year friend of Neil who was wanted by Interpol for raping boys under 15 in many countries.
After the Thai police received requests from Interpol to help locate Neil who entered Thailand on October 11 from South Korea, they received a tip about Oum.
Police visited bars and karaoke clubs in Pattaya to find Oum and learned that Oum and Neil went to Chaiyaphum, Oum's hometown.
Police also learned that that Neil went to see Oum after arriving in Thailand and that Oum took Neil to Chaiyaphum after learning from the media that his friend was wanted by Interpol.
Police travelled to Chaiyaphum but learnt that the pair had already left the province for Nakhon Ratchasima to live with Oum's cousins.
Police said Neil did not resist arrest when police raided the one-storey house where he lived with Oum.
"The suspect was quiet. He wasn't agitated, he didn't say anything at all," Lieutenant General Pongsapat Pongcharoen told reporters at a press conference in Bangkok.

I find the circus surrounding any arrest made by the Thai police to be incredibly distasteful.
Parading potential suspects in front of the media surrounded by large numbers of hangers on is not the right way to behave.
This is a high profile case but a similar thing happens at all levels and can not be beneficial to the accused. It's just a zoo!

it all seems like its normal to these people, and in asian
cultures the sad thing it is. Was the Thai guy picked up

The second thing which amazes me is the stupidity, putting pictures on the net of your face with only some swirl to hide your identity to the whole world pretty stupid. Then with the whole world closing in does he get on a plane to canada where after a few years in a hotel he could be out nah he goes to thailand where he commited similar crimes again stupid.
No one is that stupid so he really thinks because some fella arranges little boys its ok do do. Therefore the real problem lies with Thai,Burmese, Laos, vietnam people for making their children available to anyone incouding westerners without then in could never happan.
The sad thing is this wont stop because this same 'thai guy ' is probably right now arranging little boys for some thai pervert which everyone knows about but will it stop nah.

High-tech capture - Many complaints, but no formal charges against Neil in Canada

At first, on the internet, he was just a swirly face, something akin to a large multicoloured lollipop that a man might give to a little boy.
On Friday, police took the man into custody and charged him as a paedophile after computer experts had unswirled the digitally altered face in a virtuoso act of electronic decoding.
The suspect, Christopher Neil, 32, was found after Interpol issued a rare international appeal based on 200 internet pictures showing the faceless man sexually abusing boys in Vietnam and Cambodia.
The images are believed to have been taken in Vietnam and Cambodia in 2002 or 2003. Interpol, the 186-nation international police organisation based in Lyon, said the man had abused a dozen boys in those countries, some as young as six.
Thai police issued an arrest warrant for Mr Neil last week after a 17-year-old boy alleged in a statement that Mr Neil had sexually molested him several years ago.
A complaint was also filed against him by the family of a nine-year-old boy, accusing him of molesting and illegally detaining the boy whom he met in Bangkok's Din Daeng area in 2003.
Thai police said they had done some high-tech work of their own, tracing Mr Neil, who arrived in Thailand from South Korea on Oct 11, to a rented shophouse in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima through the cell phone calls of a friend.
Officials said Mr Neil, who has been living in Asia and has taught English in Thailand, Vietnam and South Korea, would be prosecuted in Thailand and then sent back to his home nation, Canada.
Canadian police are considering whether to charge him under a recent law for sex crimes committed abroad.
Mr Neil was born in British Columbia and studied there at Christ the King Seminary to be a priest. As part of his training, he volunteered as a teacher at a Roman Catholic elementary school in 2000 and 2001. He was eventually asked to leave the seminary.
''He just did not have the qualifications as a person,'' Nicholas Ruh, the rector, told the Canadian Broadcasting Corp.
He was also a volunteer chaplain and counsellor at air cadet summer training camps in Canada in the 1990s.
The man was a ''person of interest'' for police in his native province of British Columbia, Canadian officials said.
''It appears that he has been a person of interest since 2004,'' Annie Linteau, a spokeswoman for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), said.
''We're certainly interested here, but we are unable to confirm or deny that there is an ongoing investigation,'' she said.
Canadian media reported that federal authorities had received complaints from residents of the Vancouver area, saying they have been victims of sexual harassment by Mr Neil.
CBC television reported many young boys have complained about Mr Neil's sexual advances, but no formal charges had been filed.
If sexual assault or harassment charges are brought against Mr Neil in Canada, Ottawa could ask for his extradition.
It is illegal for Canadians to visit other countries for the purpose of having sex with children, but the five-year-old ''sex tourism'' law has been rarely used and questions have been raised about its constitutionality.
Canadian Justice Ministry spokesman Christian Girouard said he could not comment on whether Canada could make an extradition request for Mr Neil because charges against him had not been filed in Canada.
