The police spokesman quoted in one of those reports as saying that no prostitutes were involved was perhaps leaving a door open to the organiser to wriggle out. And simultaneously also for the organiser to make amends for all his sins of omission vis-a-vis the BIB ! On the other hand, not improbably, the embittered participant could have been a BIB himself at an earlier event.

Or maybe the wife of the police chief and her falang boyfriend were among the guests and this embittered the police chief?
I missed that wednesday party by a day and read all about it in the plane out of BKK friday night. Leaving is always tough, but this beats that I think. 
Even the TV was present and filmed it. So I barely escaped my 15 minutes of fame also.

One of the reports mentioned Duang as the organisers Thai wife, wasn't the wife of the organiser of the swinging resort that got shut down in Udon Thani also called Duang ?
Perhaps after getting kicked out of Udon they started up again in BKK and PTY and hence they got busted because they were already above the radar.
Also, the article stated they had organised 100 parties, 3,000 a couple, (22 members = 11 couples) thats only 3,300,000, 2 parties a week, thats a years worth of money. After forking out for expenses..(11 viagra's @ 300each = 3,300, 33 condoms @ 60/3pk = 660, 48 Heinekens @ 34/btl = 1,632, JW Black @ 900, water & mixers few hundred, guessing a suite even at a low end hotel that can accomodate 22 people is going to run out at 15,000 Baht, total avg cost per party = approx 21,000), the guy ends up making a profit of 96,000 Baht a month, nowhere near big money, and after contributing to the policemans ball he was probably left with less than half that per month.
There were advertisements in the BKT Classifieds also advertsing swinging parties (these ones ?), expect this site to be flagged and monitored now (if it wasn't before)

Meatywsg, I can not understand all your math since you lose a lot of it in translation I think.
But you also make some wrong assumptions.
It is 3000 per SINGLE GUY. The couples pay a lot less per couple (or even get in for free). And since there were never more then 10 single guys per party that I visited and there was a lot of food (made by Duang) and enough to drink, and I guess the "single ladies" (to even out the single guy's a bit) don't mind a bonus once in a while also, the numbers are far different from yours.
So of what I have seen, my guess is that the parties do not make a loss, but I don't think they were a moneymaking machine either. But your estimate of a 100K per month is maybe not far off. That comes to about 10K profit per party. That seems not very strange to me.
Also something you did not account is the fact that they organised more then a few "impromtu" parties. That were parties where somebody had to celebrate something and the celebration should be without clothes so to speak.  
That person took care of the place, the food and drinks and Chris and Duang took care of some girlpower and other partypeople. Those parties were free of charge.
I attended one myself.
So of what I have seen they maybe did not go broke, but they also could not buy their own jumbo jet very soon.
Oh, and I am 90% certain that you are mistaken about the identity of his wife. I am pretty sure it is not the same person you know from Udon Thani.

Fell pretty much the same as Blattsucker about these parties ending as a loss for some of us guys. It can be said they were held with respect to all participants. In any bussiness you always think Hey this guys making a mountain of gold. The reality is always slightly different as there are costs and bills to pay. I can mention some more costs further than mentioned.
Any way I myself and most of us living in BKK make more and wouldnt have here if not. So whats the point.... Truly I liked the parties that were organised and screened in a good way to hold nice people. Will miss them.

Well, more info???? On what? I don't expect a quick restart soon. On THAIVISA there is mention of "deportation". So why would you need more information about something that may never come back again?
You can find the contact info yourself on the net. So if they go on, in the same way, you can join. If they go in deep hiding, then I will not introduce a new face that can potentialy be a BiB informer. (Not that I think you are, but I hope you understand my point of view.)
The ratio? Little bit more men then girls mostly. Sex was garanteed, but sex with the object of your desire not. Parties are always a hit or miss depending on who turns up and who did not.
And little bit more couples then singles, I think Chris kept a lid on the number of singles, but I am not sure.
Dispersing into privacy? What a strange notion. 
So you are the type of guy that likes to go to the Indy 500 but then without the cars, without the racing and without the crowd?
Or you go to the Superbowl but then without the 2 teams, without the ball, without the stadium?
But to ease your fear, the lights were mostly off in the bedrooms.
And yes it was a suite. Big livingroom, see the movie, and a showerroom and 2 bedrooms. Just go to the hotel and look at the room, the number is in the news report.
Play in the bedrooms, socializing in the livingroom. Sometimes more people turned up then was expected and the wrong (small) hotelroom was rented, but mostly things were OK. And yes afterwards the shower looked like a battlezone, but be glad it was used.

Mick now I clearly dont understand.
All of us (that includes me) are used to go into bars.. look for a nice target... barfine it and take her out for the night with thinking is this what she really wants? In the said parties you couldnt behave like that but had to ask before (sometimes with your eyes -OK) f***ing someone. Even if you have 4 couples on one bed is that frightening to you?

Sorry for my strange notion, I'm not a native E. speaker.
And I was more looking for that lack of privacy than fearing it... It was just the imagination of 22 people in an average hotel room that scared me and not for privacy reasons... LOL
I'm used to the German FKK clubs which kind of provide this lack of privacy a little bit but in a more brothel type of organisation...
