Wow -been in Thailand close to 25 times in the last 7 years - not once felt threatened or in a potential violent environment when around Thais.
However being around drunken farang is a totally different story.
Usually when you mix copious amounts of booze and women in some cultures brawls break out -give credit to the Thais that the content of this thread is the exception not the rule.
