Didn't you notice what I said: "īnconvenient". And I used the example to ilustrate that "formal"closing times didn't make a city a boring place. Go back to school and learn to read. Then maybe we could one day have some real discussion.
By the way, do not falter yourself. You are not 'provoking' really anything. We are just having some fun at your expense. It is not often that we get a new fool that keeps insisting on saying stupid things after being presented with arguments.
BTW, I am still waiting for your reply on data comparison as to coffee in Colombia and p4p in Thailand. Anything else to add there? No? I didn't think so.

Obviously your not from the UK CiaoCiao otherwise you would know that looking for p4p in the UK is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I also said that because of the laws of the UK the scene that does exist (albeit a tiny one) is not easily accesible (as in the likes of Thailand) often because the scene is limited to overpriced escorts, and the odd sparse sauna (pot luck). Also from experience the sexual services on telephone booth cards you mention are largely localised to London alone and those hundreds of cards are often repeat advertising and again overpriced and usually a rip off 'poor action' service.
Besides, lets not diverge too much once again.

You have seized upon the keyword "perception" which is at the very heart of this issue. Thailand is, and will remain for a very long time, the biggest brothel in the world at least in terms of the percentage of women engaging in the trade.
Economic imperatives will remain however and while there is poverty and very low wage levels there will always be inducement for those at the bottom level to escape the poverty cycle either through prostitution or drugs.
There's no genuine, widespread desire in any part of Thai society for changes to a very rigid patronage-based and non-meritocratic social order. You may expect these inequalites to continue to exist no matter how healthy the balance of trade looks.
It may well come to pass that the farang sex orientated industry gradually metamorphises into a different creature maybe more along the lines of freelancer establishments which exist in Dubai for example but it will never completely go away while those basic economic imperatives remain.
Perhaps, but overlooked here is the Thai phenomenon of the massage parlor. As long as they continue to exist without imposing a uniform "no farang f*ck here" policy, you can rest assured that sex tourism will continue, if only in the more circumspect manner that the local leadership prefers.
